Hot Topic

Very friendly employees. The store has a lot of items in stock and very well kept. One thing about most hot topic stores they are on the smaller side and hard to walk around. The aisles are very narrow and if you have a stroller might want to leave it outside. It's a store any aged kids yo adults can go in and enjoy walking around and or purchasing something.

It's a bit overpriced for the stuff they sell. And dont really have much of a selection of things to buy. Not like it was back in the day...

Found last minute christmas presents. Lady was really helpful and patient eventhough all the holiday rushnshoppers.

I went to buy 2 tees and got ignored when I tried to purchase them. The two employees were just talking for 5 minutes. So I came back later and they quickly helped a couple other "alt" people. Maybe it’s because I don’t have the punk look but that’s still rude. When I went to return the shirts the employee sniffed them in front of me, mind you I never even took the shirts out the bag from when I bought them. They used to have friendly staff, I don’t know if management changed.

So I venture into this land we will call Hot Topic for this reviews purpose. I'd like to call it something far worse. I was initially greeted by an angry mob of shoppers all looking for items that were clearly displayed above various racks or on the walls above the display, but nothing is where it's supposed to be on this fine day. Regardless of where it's posted to be, it's in another worldly dimension that from time to time you'd hear a very loud.."I've got it! , it's been found down/up here", you could also decipher that this was a sound of relief from at least one customer. Whew! They had probably been looking for a while for said product/products and discovered the item they wanted in an area that displayed something else they were in search of. Moving on, I went to find a simple Arcane shirt for my daughter, and online, it showed they're 100 in stock, but none that could be shipped prior to Christmas. So now I'm looking in the store (this store, unfortunately). After 35 min of searching nonstop, I ask am attendant if she can guide me in the proper direction , in which she replies, " I don't know just look. " With a bewildered look on my face, I said, "Do you work here? "In which door replies, "Duh, " so I walked off due to her rudeness. About 15 min later, I spotted another attendant and asked the same question. She guides me to a section that it is clearly not displayed and says, "This is the last our store has." Again, I'm bewildered as I show the attendant the online version, and she replied with, "That must be a different store. We only have this one shirt, and it's x-large." Now, being very frustrated, I just give up. I get that everyone has a bad day, and I get that things can become out of sorts from customers. However, this was out of control. I'll never be coming back to this store again. The staff was rude, the items were not clearly marked, and the internet supposedly lies about their store. Not others just their store on that day. Whatever you say lady.

Who doesn't love a good Hot Topic store. Their service in the store is absolutely awesome. Everyone working there is happy to be there and very helpful. It's clean even though it's a bit compact. But you can see evertlyrhing they have and it's abundant.

Idalia (I'm so sorry because I'm sure I'm spelling your name incorrectly) Thank you for going above and beyond, you are so amazing! Best customer service I've had in a long time, definitely wanted to shout you out as being a great and beautiful spirit. It was refreshing interacting with someone so genuine and pleasant and nice and helpful 😊 This Hot Topic has a good selection of shirts and dresses and hoodies. Small layout compared to some other HT's I've been too but they set it up nice. Smaller jewelry section some what. Definitely worth stopping in just to see Idalia though 😁 Thanks again for being superbly fantastic !
