Hot Topic

Employees were polite and attentive to everyone who came inside the store. Helpful and knowledgeable in their products. It's pretty much just as I remembered it back in the late 90s, early 2000s. With splashes of old and new oddities that us alternative scene people love.

This is my favorite hot topic store! the staff is super friendly, shout out to Dustin, Angie & Lyndsey for helping this grandma pick out birthday & graduation gifts for my family! Those 3 never steer me wrong and the stuff the staff recommends is always a stellar hit with the grand kids making me look like such a cool grannie for picking up the best gifts! Highly recommended and they have great sales too!

First time at a hot topic and it was definitely the loudest store I've been at. My dad was quite shook and called it demonic (it's not but my parents think that way about a lot of modern/fandom things), but overall it was a very pleasant experience. Prices are somewhat high but I found what I was looking for and the people working there were extremely kind and helpful.

The employees are nice but the store (all of them) have massively gone down hill. They used to have their Gothic and dark feel. Now there's so many lights, you'd think your walking into any other super feminine store. Not saying it's not for feminine people, but that's not how it used to feel. And the store they have now... is about maybe a quarter of what they used to have. I look to see them all closing down in the next 10 years.

I’ve always loved hot topic but lately I’ve changed my mind. Since this pandemic the employees are like hawks when you walk into that store. It is extremely uncomfortable. I went there today with my mother and right when I walked in (me and my mother were the only people in there) my mother lifted her mask down for not even a second to take a sip of her coffee and the employee in the matter of seconds went up in my mothers face and rudely told her to put her mask back up. Keep in mind she was only taking a sip of her coffee and we were more than 6 feet from this employee. It is absolutely ridiculous to be this rude. I’ve worked in retail and so has my mother and we as employee are not supposed to do this. Bad employee. Really need to mind their own business and not wait around and watch customers the whole time in the store. I’ve shopped here since I was in middle school and they will not see me in that store again or get a penny of my money and you can blame the employee and how they are rudely handling this pandemic. I might even call corporate on these employees on how rudely they approached my mother when she was just taking a sip of her coffee.

It's great to see the cool clothing items they have, but not even worth my while checking because they never have anything above a medium for most things. The store seems very bare in the rear. Some of the employees are nice though.
