Customer Care Center closes at 6 PM on Sundays while the store closes much later at 11 PM. Why are they unable to care for customers for the full time their store is open? This decision makes zero sense and is a great disservice to their customers. I was given a wrong pick up order, but was unable to return it upon realization because the store already closed. So they’re wasting my time twice now at their own convenience. Awful customer service approach.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE at Walmart Auto Care – Newington, CT I signed up for Walmart+ because they promised flat-tire repair as part of the Care Plan—no appointment needed, just bring the tire in. However, when I went to the Newington, CT Walmart Auto Care, they told me this location only works by appointment. One big guy with a terrible attitude claimed all the techs were "busy," even though I literally saw them standing around talking and laughing with each other. I walked around the store for about 30 minutes and came back—same thing. They were still just standing there chatting, no cars in the parking lot, and it was only around 3–4 PM on a Sunday, nowhere near closing. Absolutely unprofessional. This isn’t the first time, either. Every visit, the same big guy and the shorter older guy act like they don’t want to be bothered. I forgot to get their names, but they’ve consistently had an attitude with customers. If they hate their jobs that much, they should quit instead of giving paying customers such horrible treatment. Walmart needs to fix this location. Employees like this ruin Walmart’s reputation. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service.

I received outstanding customer service from Anita and Kimora!!! I had a very complex issue I needed assistance with. They both handled it extremely professionally and went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved. They were both very knowledgeable, friendly and personable! 😊

It’s Walmart. They do have a lot of seasonal stuff. Clearance isles all the same as all the other Walmart. Except. There’s actually cashiers. Live people to check you out Also self serve. But like 3 cashier lanes open at the time I went. 1:00 in the afternoon.

Today December 26th 2026 around 5pm I was at auto department with my 2 year old picking up my car tires. I was never once greeted with a smile just frustration and attitude. The Hispanic lady with the brown ponytail was very rude. She had absolutely no manners and seem like she was having a bad day. I totally understand bad days happen but I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and have never been as mean as this woman was today. It was my first time visiting the Newington location and it would be my last. I never used PayOne before and was asking if she can possibly help me, being that she works there I felt maybe she would have known. She wouldn't even give me a chance to talk, just sucking her teeth, rolling her eyes and being very dismissing to my questions. She told me it was only 2 of my tires in stock until the other employee checked the back and found all four. Rewind back 3 days ago I was just there to pick up the tires and she told me couldn't pick up the tires being that only 3 tires were available and being that it was under the same order I had to wait for all three and I was ok with that. Same attitude same tone. NOT WELCOMING. Today I expressed to her today that she had very poor customer service skills and it's not a good look for the business and she tired to change her behavior after speaking in Spanish to her co workers which I found very rude being that we all spoke English. Having a rude person as the face of your business is a step in the wrong direction. Walmart please do better customer service isn't for everyone 🙄

Cashier pretty much ignored us talking to someone 2 people away the to a cashier near her. Didnt even acknowledge.us I had to bag my own thins and so did the lady in front of me and behind me. Not good customer service

Went to this particular Walmart location because they have a repair shop. Bought tires a month ago at Walmart online and set up an appointment to change them out. Great service from beginning to end. Wife and I were told about an hour to put the new tires on so we went shopping and ended up in the waiting room afterwards for about 15 minutes. Cost additional $10 per tire and that was it! Auto Center staff was great. This Walmart is clean and stocked with merchandise. 5 Stars.
