Target

Dear establishment, I am writing to express my concern regarding the hygiene standards at your establishment. I have recently observed several customers and staff members failing to wash their hands after using the restroom facilities. While I understand the difficulty of monitoring personal hygiene, I would like to suggest the following measures to help maintain a cleaner environment and prevent the spread of bacteria: 1. Hire bathroom attendants to sanitize facilities and provide reminders to guests to wash their hands. 2. Assign associates to specific aisles to monitor the handling of merchandise and offer hand sanitizer to customers before they touch food, drinks, or other items. While hygiene is a personal choice at home, public spaces require higher standards to ensure community health. This genuinely has to be the worst target and it sucks because it’s the closest one to my house. I collect kpop albums and a lot of groups do target exclusives. A lot of the time the albums aren’t on the shelf release day, which isn’t the problem. The problem is; without fail I will just do an online order and they will ALWAYS cancel it. On the few times it didn’t get cancelled I’ll go and pick up when it was "ready" and the person helping me will come back telling me "oh your order was actually cancelled" while actively getting the order cancelled notification right there in store. I don’t like to bother anyone because they are understaffed. This most recent visit I asked for help and they said how much of something they had in back but couldn’t go and grab ONE because they weren’t ready to put it on the floor, it’s been out for a few days now. I know this is such a minor thing to be upset about but to be lied to and getting order cancelled in store countless times when I even find it on the shelf because someone didn’t want to look really sucks. I’ve worked retail, still do and I just don’t understand what the problem is with this store in particular. I go to the southington target mainly because they ALWAYS accept and have my order ready, they always help me when I ask for it. This one in particular really just makes me upset with how they handle customers.

NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THIS STORE. I have selected every option — INCLUDING the Starbucks line and literally no one will answer. Does not matter what time of day I’ve called or day of the week. Literally cannot get through to a human being. Utterly ridiculous. I’ve added a photo for reference on how many times I’ve called in a row through the different call menu options just to get a breathing person.

I placed an order on line received email saying my order is ready for pick up. 2 hours later received another email saying upon my request the order was cancelled. I never cancelled the order. Called the Newington target for over an hour no one never answered the phone. Once I get off of work I will go to the store and speak to manager because this is bad customer service. If they didnt have the item they should've said that in the email. I will definitely not shop at Target again.

This store is clearly under poor management. There are rarely enough staff available, leading to long waits almost every visit. As a customer, it’s uncomfortable seeing one cashier covering both the register and self-checkout, and a single Starbucks barista trying to handle everything alone. I feel bad for the employees.

By far the worst managed target I've been to in a long time. I was shopping for a hour and had no cart. Stuff thrown left and right like a tornado ran through the place. One total register open, causing the line to stretch to the damn produce section of the grocery area. Self checkout doesn't take cash. And when I left, the cart area was still empty. Staff seem to be a mixed bag, some were nice and some wanted to chew your head off of you looked at them funny. I can see why this store has only two stars after this visit.

This target is messy, and under staffed. Never any cashiers working. Never any bags. Not worth going. Everything we buy there can be purchased elsewhere. In store experience is extremely sub par. Today I was verbally assaulted by another customer who was angry for cash out wait times. It's just a terrible environment to be in. I won't be back,
