Gearheads Outdoor Store

We stopped here to fill up our water jug and dropped off empty propane tanks. It is free of charge. The staff are really nice. They have a lot of outdoor gears available here.

Really nice and helpful staff. They gave us some leeway on our rentals due to our uncertainty of plans. Rentals themselves were well maintained and clean, absolutely no complaints.

We always stop at Gearheads when we're in Moab & NEVER leave without finding something we didn't know we were missing. They have so much stuff and a variety of clothes & gear for men and women and your pets. We even skipped the big co-op store when we traveled back through Albuquerque because we knew we found all we needed at Gearheads. Great staff. They made some great suggestions for getting off the (hiking) beaten path to find rock scrambling routes. We had a blast. Will be back next time we're in Moab.

The best place to stop to fill water in Moab. It's free to fill up and you don't really even have to enter the main store to access the sinks. Just park in back. They even have little wagons you can borrow to get the water to your car. The store is also very cool and offers pretty much any gear you'd need for Moab's varied outdoor activities. Very helpful staff. Also, bathrooms are super clean.

I love it here! I never knew I could love outdoor gear so much! The guys at Gearheads really know their stuff. They helped me pick out new river sandals that I immediately tested out at a nearby waterfall they suggested. They also gave me great hiking and camping recommendations for the next time I visit Moab. REI could never...

This shop is absolutely amazing! They most likely have anything you need. Staff were super friendly too, and I love that they have a water station. 100% will be back when in Moab!

This is one of the best gear stores I’ve ever been to, not just in Moab but anywhere. Extremely well stocked, excellent selection, and a very convenient free water fill.
