This review and rating is specific to Adventure Palace. We had a great time the place is new the mall is pretty empty but we went to play only. Cool thing is when you pay for the pass it’s good all day! So if you wanna take a break and go eat and come back you can! If you have sticky socks bring them if not you pay 3 bucks per kid. Cool obstacles and I even played a lil chase with the kiddos
A mall is a mall, but I give them two stars because they're basically closing, they don't have any stores. So if you come here, you need to know where you're going, and that's the place is actually in here. But if you come here to exercise and walk I guess it's a good fit. It's not a lot of people here.
Everything is gone, and it's very sad to see. I'd mark this as a historic spot rather than a mall. I would have liked to have seen this mall in its prime. I hope it can bounce back, but I'm not sure any have come back from this far gone.
I'll give this mall an extra star for the memories I have of going to this mall in it's prime, I had lots of fun going to this mall as a kid/young adult, it was a great place to hang out with friends and shop. Nowadays it's a dead mall; there's no more business open save for a few kiosks and maybe 5 or so stores on one side of the mall. I personally enjoy exploring malls in this stage of their life, as they can sort of be like time capsules. However I would not recommend anyone travel to go to this mall expecting to shop. If you're into trading card games there's a nice TCG shop there, maybe a few places to stop in to check out but it is a shell of what it once was and truly sad to see. Would love to see this place reused in some way some day.
What happened to the mall?!? there's no stores left, all the main stores are gone, hot topic, journeys, Best Buy is gone, restaurants are closed, all the middle booths are vacant. How is this mall even still open? There's nothing to do here...
Nothing here anymore but Boscov, so sad, I grew up across from this mall and seen it being built, it was amazing in it's heyday, JCPenney even had a auto repair and gas station. So many awesome stores, Helen Gallagher gifts East West Gift shop, Radio Shack, Child World...I could go on and on. Sometimes on cld rainy days I go there to walk..sad to see it today knowing what it was.
Came here for the Meriden food truck festival, which is set up in the parking lot each year. Not bad, though they're were slightly less vendors than last year. Pizza, Ice cream, cookies, slushies, loaded fries and tots, chompers, baked potatoes, fried dough, churros, elote, bbq, acai bowls, smoothies, etc. They also had various vendors with crochet items, woodworking, face painting, henna, t shirts, pet accessories, wine infused gummy bears, etc Parking was easy.
