The first thing the guy you check in with said, is that I don’t care what you say and to stop talking but you have to listen to me babbling about why did I come early, two days early according to them. I didn’t, I came 30 minutes earlier from the appointment, few minutes later same guy came walking back saying I can back to a dock and that they will take the load today. come to to this place for shitty time, and treatment. People here hate their lives and they take it out on you.
I am writing to report an incident that occurred during my scheduled delivering appointment on 07-11-25 at 5:00 a.m. Upon arrival, I checked in as instructed. One of the workers advised me to put on a safety vest, which I promptly did. However, when I returned, another worker began yelling at me without justification. He asked, "Do you have a problem with us? Why didn’t you put on your safety vest first?" He continued in a raised tone, making remarks such as, "You drivers are all the same, you think you can do whatever you want." I calmly asked if I could wait while he unloaded the trailer so I could leave afterward, and he directed me to dock 4. I am concerned about the unprofessional and hostile behavior displayed, and I wanted to bring this to your attention so that appropriate action can be taken to ensure a safe and respectful work environment for drivers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Benjamin S
So this post is for Lincoln, Nebraska Coca-Cola. Awesome awesome place. My appointment was at eight. I got in at 7:20 AM and left at 8:15 AM. That is how a shipper I receiver handles a good management handles leader handles employees the gentleman there was nice. Make sure you wear your safety vest. Make sure you slide your tandems And you get out of there ASAP I can’t speak for Illinois again. I will come to Nebraska anytime and deliver to them. Thank you, Lincoln, Nebraska for them having a great attitude. And just overall. Professionals environment Coca-Cola
The dude at reciving will treat you very bad, he will be threatening you with not unloading your trailer until the next couple of days for no reason at all like you are bringing their product because you wanted, a reminder to them: truck drivers are not your employees we are there because you ordered what we are bringing, a reminder to me: never put a foot on that place again.
Prompt unloading, can tell the forklift operators were experienced and polite. This was at 0630. First time visitors please read below. The morning desk worker doesn't seem "all there". You walk in and there is no indication that he is aware you're there. Yeah, the gate, turns out, does not open automatically but there is no feedback that it was done by a human so anyone coming here for the first time isn't going to know that. Once you walk in the receiving door there is no way to indicate you are there. No "be with you shortly", and the one window has blinds drawn so there is no simple nod or gesture to indicate anything. I waited a few minutes not knowing if anyone even knew I was there before politely and without impatience or attitude knocked on the door, and after offering apologies and outlining the problem once I was talked down to, all I got was indignance and the farce of an implication that I expected everyone to drop everything so I could be tended to immediately, despite multiple reiterations of my explanation and highlighting the problem. I'm sure nothing will be done. Easy solution: mandate some sort of human feedback. Some minor etiquette is all that it would take.
Arrived at 5am for a delivery, left out at 5:30am 👌🙌 No overnight parking and nowhere to park on the street but there's a small truck stop 1 mile away but has very limited parking. There's a rest area and a couple mom and pop shops with plenty of parking within 20 minutes, and also plenty shoulders you can catch without any issues, that'll put you pretty close to coca cola
Follow the rules, park vest check in. Tandems back, nice people. Parking over nite on street, don't block the turn out of drive for coke trks.
