Hot Topic

Placed an in store pickup for an item that was just launched and popular. The item was sold out online and in store pickup was the only option. I waited 3 hours and the store still hadn't reserved my item for pickup. While I was waiting, I saw the in stock item switch to low stock. I had to rush to the store and luckily found 1 more on the shelf. The employee wasn't able to just process the online order with the item in hand so I had to buy it again and was told I had to contact support to cancel the online order. I didnt get the online price and the employee was far from helpful.

My daughter wanted to purchase a hat, so we stopped by Hot Topic to see what they had. She fell in love with a black studded hat, so we walked up to the register to pay for it. The person at the register was busy and didn’t say anything to us for a minute. It felt a little awkward at first, but once she wasn’t busy anymore, Melissa was really nice. She told us about their 30% off deal going on when you buy two items, so my daughter also grabbed a belt she really wanted. She was also eyeballing a backpack, but we were able to order in online (through Hot Topic) when we got home and it was a lot cheaper. We’ve always had a good experience here and the employees are kind. It’s my daughter’s favorite store, so we’ll be back. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the items aren’t the best quality. My daughter put her belt on and one of the studs fell off. Luckily we were able to put it back on though.

Came to this hot topic location because of the Pokémon promo promotion on 12/12/2025 and I was told "the manager accidentally threw them away" this store has people in it who will take things & sell them on eBay. Avoid this hot topic at all costs if you’re going for collectibles.

The store's selection is decent and the staff are very friendly. I've returned several items to this store and it's always been an easy process.

Am employee asked everyone to leave an hour before the posted closing time. She claimed the store was supposed to be closed 10 minutes before she kicked us out.

Staff were all super friendly and fun to work with. I was happy with the selection the store had to offer and always enjoy looking around at what's new.
