BoBaPoP Tea Bar- Germantown

Was walking home from the bus stop and saw it. Immediately drew me in, and lured my attention. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Very easy to find one to try for the first time, with the help of their amazing staff. Went with mango madness and replaced the boba with mango star jellies. Blew my mind on how good it was. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Definitely will be craving them a lot now. Relaxing and inviting, free wifi and kind workers!

Edit: I've been back several times and each time has been great! Service has gotten faster, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. First time trying this particular bubble tea place. They have a pretty standard menu, but there's a good amount of flavor and customization options. I'd say the quality of the drinks is what sets this place apart. They were really, really tasty! I've had other bubble tea that tastes powdery or the flavor is nowhere near what it is supposed to be. The drink I got was very balanced, and my sister's was good too. The service was a bit slow, but I think they're still fairly new, so I'm sure they'll work out the kinks. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Whenever I go here, the slushes always aren’t blended correctly. They have little ice pieces in the slush so it’s kind of a milk tea slightly blended with a bunch of ice pieces. The wait is always long, and I will not be coming back anytime soon. The customer service was amazing though.

This Bobapop location didn’t have avocado like the kentlands location but I suppose it maybe a seasonal item. My drink I ordered was the Dragon Colada it was pretty good! Tasted like a hint pinacolada and custard ice cream which is exactly what I needed; not to sweet and the bubbles were perfect taste/texture. The folks there were nice and their service was good.

Had the honeydew milk bubble tea. It was made using honeydew melon puree and pulps! The drink was very refreshing. The tapioca pearls/boba were also good. You can try parking in the street in front of the store, but if unavailable, there is a parking lot behind the store (entrance is around the corner).

Decent iced tea flavors. Loved the choice of sugar and ice in any tea. Ordered the passion fruit tea with pops which was bitter. Could taste it was an artificial drink with color. Wouldn't recommend it but may be once a while. Kids didn't love it. The Rockville bubble tea locations taste far better.

Ordered some boba teas for the family. The customer service experience was awful while the product was good. When you have a group of teenagers with no supervision, you get an environment of half attention and overloads of joking around. Having fun at work is important but when it disrupts you ordering and you have to wait for the employees to stop showing each other memes and messages on their phones, that’s a bit much.
