Gigi's Cupcakes

They always have a great assortment of cupcakes for my last minute horrible planning. They are always coming in great for the last minute save!

It is very very pretty and very delightful to look at, but does it taste good? Yes, it is VERY SWEET but that doesn’t equate as good. For cheesecake option, it doesn’t take like cheese-cake but rather a "rundown buttercream" put in a cupcake cup and freeze it. The bottom crust is very thin which is very stingy for the price of it. $5.50 for regular ones and $6.50 for the dubai cheesecake. It is not too bad if it’s worth it. It is just veryyyyyyu sweet, less cream and pure sugar. One bite to two bites, you’re done. It froze very quickly which means it has a lot of butter. Idk, it is just not worth it. If I would like to buy some deserts to show off with my white friends, I’d buy this. But even them have said it is too sweet, and I would agree. It is still very bougie tho but I hope ya’ll make cupcakes, and cheesecake that is leaning more onto "creamyyy" rather than pure sweet sugar butter-texture like cheesecake. I will just freeze them and use them as my sweetener of my french vanilla coffee.

My wife and I used Gigi's cupcakes for our wedding cake. It was one of the best interactions as far as getting everything taken care during chaotic wedding planning. Quick responses, easy to work with, customizable cakes, and tasty options. (We went with lemon cake, raspberry filling, and almond frosting to look like a birch tree). Very tasty and excellent artwork!!

Gigi is cranking out some good cupcakes. Moist cake. Heavy frosting. Sweet tooth approved. Can vouch for pnut butter and the lemon. Love finding a new brand.

The staff is very friendly. The cupcakes are sooo delicious. My favorite is the chocolate chip cookie cupcake. My dogs also love the dog cupcakes.

Hands down the best gluten free cupcake I've ever tasted. The cake itself was incredibly moist (I know, sorry) and delectable while the frosting had my taste buds dancing. At 3.95 a cupcake it was definitely worth trying once or even twice. A word to the wise, it's much easier to eat the cupcake with a spoon rather than your hands as it is both heavy and delicate at the same time. The only downside was I wish the staff was more knowledgeable about their allergen list. 8/10.

I special ordered cupcakes to match dresses for a significant prom related event. I had requested a noon pick-up time the day of the occasion. I had the ability to leave work at 11:30am so I went to pick up the desserts with the hope they would have been done early. Upon learning they weren’t ready from the owner, I expressed disappointment. Her demeanor quickly changed to an incredibly rude tone oozing with pretentiousness at the fact that it wasn’t noon yet. Her curt and unfriendly body language also spoke volumes as to the unacceptable level of disrespect the owner was willing to subject a customer to. In the meantime, I did run another errand to allow the last cupcake to be completed. Bottom line - quality customer service exuding courtesy trumps whether the clock says 11:40 or 12:00. No excuses. I will never be back nor will I recommend it to others. Not only was I disappointed in the owner’s unprofessionalism, I was unimpressed with the substandard product. Please see the pic of the cupcake that was supposed to be completed and represent a black prom dress. This picture is proof of the obvious inadequacy/attitude. Fargo-Moorhead has many wonderful options for custom desserts. I highly recommend exploring Nicole’s Fine Pastries, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Insomnia Cookies … and Jen’s Bakery on Timber Pkwy in south Fargo is an excellent option too!
