Children’s Museum of Eau Claire

We did a private birthday party here for my daughter and it was a wonderful experience! The staff were easy to work with and accommodating to what we needed. The kids loved having the space to play!

We traveled out here from the Twin Cities on a sunny but cold winter day. It was well worth the drive. We spent over three hours here and could have played longer. I loved the STEM/science focused theme of almost all of the stations. Perfect for little boys who like to build, climb, and experiment. The open layout is such that you can easily keep track of your kids and sit down while they play instead of having to follow and redirect like in other play spaces. Each exhibit held their attention for a long period leaving a lot of potential to do more in the future.

The Children's Museum of Eau Claire is the best place to bring your kids to play for an hour or two. It is a clean and safe environment with many interactive and stimulating displays. My two year old especially loves the play grocery shopping area and the water features. The museum staff is friendly and they will occasionally host fun events that we like to attend. It is reasonably priced and the membership pays for itself. Lots of memories are being made here!

Wonderful place to take kiddos. We had a blast playing and learning with the various displays. Water table is a must see! Story time on Sundays at 11AM! There is a daily fee or you can save money and purchase an annual family pass. My math says it only takes less than 10visits with 1 adult and 1 child to pay for the annual pass.

Visiting family in Eau Claire and brought my grandchildren here to play to avoid the cold weather. Very interactive with activities for all ages. Coloful museum and many different themed places to explore. My grandkids loved it. Appeared to be able to accomodate different abilites and needs. There was an elevator, a quiet room, sensory ear phones and wheelchair accomodations. There is an adjacent parking ramp next door. The ramp was not directly connected and you have to go outside the ramp to enter. That was difficult in the slushy snow for my mom in her 80's.

Kids always love it here! Crafts, a climbing area, tons of play pretend and fun ways to learn! If your kids are really into playing with water tables you might want to bring a spare set of clothes to change into after.

We love coming here. So many things to do and see. Even as an adult I love coming to the museum! Last time we went a lot of the things didn't work like the lights in the brain, the bank tubes and a few other things but I'm sure the kids get ahold of them and break it. Otherwise it's a nice place to come and somewhere to tire the kids out!
