Hot Topic

The variety and selection of things is great (still different from what HT used to be like). I used to come to this location a lot and the employees seem much more judgmental than other locations I’ve visited each time, so I just try to avoid it now. One instance is that I’ve unfortunately come across an employee following me around and keeping a close eye on only me when I was the only person of color in the store, but not minding my white friend either.

I was shopping with my mom and after 10 minutes got in line to pay. One of the employees yelled for us to move to the right. Never in all the years I’ve shopped at Hot Topic has an employee raised their voice at me, let alone any customer, in that way. I was very confused because within the 10 minutes we were shopping, everyone else who checked out stood exactly where we were standing in line. Why was it an issue where we were standing now that we had finally gotten in line? It could have been addressed in a more professional way. When we moved over and I asked "where does the line start then?", the employee behind the register said "you should remember your place in line"…The attitudes from the employees were so rude. So. Rude. I put my item back and left. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a Hot Topic and I will not be shopping at this location again.

I spoke with Nicki over the phone who helped me place something on hold. When I came into the store she was so pleasant. The store looks great. Clean & filled with merch!

Cashier would not take a no in regards to signing up for there rewards program . Then another associate chimed in and tried to guilt trip my wife and I into signing up for the " free " rewards program. The passive aggressiveness made us rather uncomfortable. Please do better with taking a no for an answer .

Good place for the younger teen crowd to get hip t-shirts and other type of age appropriate apparel.

Great selection for teenagers and young adults. You can get some good deals if you come at the right time. I stop in every once in a while with the kids when I’m at the mall.

Great shop for my emo kids. Staff is helpful. Store had tight spaces but lots of stuff. Regular sales and rewards program help with prices. Clothing, collectables, jewelry, and more. Popular merch from Disney, Bands, pop culture, movies, games, and tv!
