Customer service was A-1 Aisha’s went above and beyond to help me find men’s cleats for my son. Even when the other store left her on hold she stand with it to get the cleat on hold for me! Great leadership with the gentleman helping her get it done!

A decent store but POLICE YOUR PARKING! The Asian market that took over the old Walmart location causes people to overflow park into the Big5 lot. No reserved spots for folks trying to shop at the store. With Ricardos gone, too, those spots are also taken. Had we not gotten a spot on the side by chance, I'd have driven away from frustration. I'm not trying to park behind the mall just to walk 10 minutes to Big5.

PLEASE NOTE: SHOP ELSEWHERE. May I suggest Dick's Sporting Goods if you need something immediate? The prices and selection of general, entry-level sporting goods from baseball to airsoft is pretty decent for a brick-and-mortar store. It is a clean store. I was there on a late Saturday afternoon on 5/10/2025 and the customer service was lacking hard, and there were three employees who just had zero desire to be there. One employee wandered the store and didn't ask any customer there if they needed help with anything. You walk in, and none of the employees greet you. You shop there, and the cashier tells you the total and just hands you the receipt. There's no "thank you for shopping at Big 5" or any of that store etiquette. Mind you, I spent about $60 on a baseball bat and some balls, I'm not saying treat me like a king but good God, have some decency to not make me feel like I should hate your job with you. Anyway, if you aren't in dire need to get something immediately, shop elsewhere or shop online because this place needs to get its customer service act together. It won't surprise me if this place shutters like Sears soon enough. Or hire some people who don't look like they hate their job and every customer is an inconvenience to them.

The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is that the store could benefit from a slightly larger inventory in certain categories. There were a few specific items I was looking for that were out of stock. However, the staff offered to check availability at other locations and online, which was helpful. Overall, Big 5 Sporting Goods on Factoria Blvd provides a solid shopping experience for anyone in need of sporting goods and outdoor gear. With its wide selection, helpful staff, and great prices, it's a go-to spot for all your athletic and outdoor needs. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning for future purchases!

Great store , I have always had a great experience and selection , and they always honor their customer coupons , I once showed up and didn’t realize that the coupon was a one day coupon and the cashier spoke with the manager and honored the coupon , absolutely incredible .

Is it asking too much to have a friendly or warm disposition when you work in customer service? Either do that or get a job stocking cause we k ow not everyone is built to smile and be nice. Now I know why I prefer Dick’s Sporting Goods.
