The store has some super cool stuff. Cluttered with all sorts of anime, kpop stuff but the owners will yell at you if you touch anything…. So it’s hard to look at everything but it’s cool as long as you just….avoid the owners
I got sold a fake super Sonico for $80 IN A REAL BOX?!?!?FAKE BOOTLEGS BEING SOLD HERE THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWNNN!!
Horrible store. Everything is either bootleg or overpriced into oblivion. I love Gundam plastic models aka Gunpla and they had some in locally in-stock. Well let's just say their prices were insane. a Entry Grade RX-78 goes for 8-12 dollars tops. It was label 40 freaking dollars. a High Grade Neon Nu Gundam is price between 25 to 30 dollars. Their price tag was 150 dollars! The worse one is their Perfect Grade RX-78 Unleashed. That grade in retail goes for 250 to 300 dollars depending on the retailer... They have it for 1000 dollars in their store! Please just stay away from this store and order your figures or merch online.
It's a knock off, rip-off shop. There's a lot of really cool stuff, and you love to see this kind of store, but there's a lot of downsides. Almost anything you grab in here won't be official merch, and medium to terrible quality at that. Digging for the better stuff is fun though. The owners usually make you feel really uncomfortable about being there, as if their stuff actually has value, and then a lot of the items don't have price tags, so you'll take it to the counter, and, I kid you not, these people will talk the price up almost without you realizing it. As in *they like to name their prices and increase them once every purchase if you sound willing to buy it.* The stuff's already relatively expensive.
Over priced garbage the lady followed me around the store she treated me like a pest rather than a customer. Nothing had a price tag I asked her about some of the Naruto figures and she wanted $75 for something I can find online for $25 it's almost like a money laundering establishment because if they treat everyone like this it's a wonder how they are still in business. Avoid at all cost!
Went here a couple of days ago and was disgusted. There's not a single thing in this store that isn't a bootleg. The thing that gets me the most is that they want full market value or more for everything in here when nothing is a licensed product. If the figures that are several hundred dollars weren't bad enough, they're selling illegal screenprinted wall scrolls that are in terrible quality and clothes/cosplay that are terrible looking and would fall apart quickly. If you want anything licensed or of quality, don't bother looking at this place and just buy something from the actual manufacturer or places that sell official products. A couple I recommend are Solaris Japan, Tokyo Otaku Mode, and Good Smile Company America. I was excited to go here, but going in here actually made me upset the rest of the day. The bootlegs and bad prints/clothes aren't even the only things I hated about it either. The place is so packed with stacks upon stacks of bootleg figures that I actually found it hard to move around without being scared of knocking a bunch of stuff over. Someone should contact the local FBI office and report this place so the owner is charged for each and every item in this place. This place is as bad, if not worse than the other bootleg shops here in town (Anime+ and Oriental Gifts in the other mall).
I don't understand how places that sell counterfeit merchandise like this stay in business. All it takes is one person visiting their local FBI office and filing a complaint to get it investigated. I'm sure that with however many hundreds of counterfeits this store has that it would be worth the FBI's time to fine them for every single one. I visited this store recently, even after reading the reviews that mentioned the knockoffs and I have to say that I couldn't find a single thing in the store that wasn't a counterfeit or an unlicensed screenprinted wallscroll, tapestry or article of clothing(in terrible quality, might I add). Don't expect this place to be open much longer. The biggest slap in the face is the shop trying to charge the market price of legitimate merchandise for these cheap, awful and sometimes disgustingly bad knockoffs. This place clearly uses Alibaba and AliExpress to aquire their bootlegs and I hope I never see them open up in Albuquerque again. They're as bad as or worse than the knockoff stores in the other Albuquerque mall(Oriental Gifts and Anime+).
