I want to start off this review by saying this is not intended for Dr. Wang because I didn’t even have the opportunity to meet him. I am writing this because it was one of my worst experiences at an office. I showed up for my appointment about 15 minutes early, and wanted to use the restroom. My father got the men’s restroom key from the office I was being seen at but was told that someone was using the women’s restroom key. When the woman using the restroom came out I kindly asked her for the key so I, then my mother, could use the restroom. she proceeded to ask me if I was a patient at their office to which I responded I was, and then she refused to give me the bathroom key and rather unlocked it for me instead. When I asked her why I couldn’t have the key (which they give to all patients) she told me because people steal the key. I’ve never heard of this in my life but okay now I feel like I am being stereotyped as someone who looks like they would steal a bathroom key?? After feeling hurt I went into the office and was presented with a woman sitting at the front desk, who asked me for my ID and insurance card. I told her I had my ID but my insurance card was digital. She stated "…so you don’t have it physically?…" I told her I didn’t and she gave me a card with their email to email the insurance card. 2 seconds after I sat down and was in the middle of sending it she looks up at me and rushes me to send it saying "so can you send it" I told her I was in the middle of it. Now I was just hurt and upset. I was ready to go talk to the doctor about my health concerns and guess who walks in, not the doctor but the woman who refused to give me the bathroom key. I was never informed I wouldn’t be seen by my doctor but by who I believe was the NP. I canceled my follow up so quickly and will never be going back.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. Dr Wang is so smart, and he truly cares about his patients. It’s evident from the second you meet with him as a new patient to their practice. The PA Kellie Hoy, is also one of the most knowledgeable and kind health care providers I have ever seen. The entire staff is lovely to work with. They are helpful and accommodating with scheduling and when any testing is done. They communicate well and make sure you fully understand biopsy results which can be stressful. If you are in need of a wonderful dermatologist, for any medical or aesthetics needs, you found the very best in OC! You will be in great hands with Dr. Wang or Kellie Hoy.

Dr. Wang and Kellie the PA are not just professional (very important) but also very personable (which is also very important). They truly care about their patients. They staff was also great and helped with answering my questions. If you're looking for a great Dermatology office...you found a great one!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Their office told me to send my medication to the office instead of to my house. And since my medication has been sent there they have no answered a single phone call (about 30+ over 2 weeks). Horrible horrible place. They are holding my medication hostage that would help me with my disease. Will be going in person to take care but wanted to let people know how bad they are.

The new staff at the Huntington Beach location is very unprofessional and unreliable. The new dermatologist is just there to make money off the insurance. I will not be going back to this doctor anymore. Dr. James needs to set them down and have a good talk about being professional courteous to their customers like a doctor's office should be ran. Not a playground for overgrown kids.

Worst place, worst doctors, your skin will not improve. Bad and rude customer services.

James T. Wang is a great doctor, my experience with him and his team was very pleasant !!! The front desk girls were amazing with helping me through the paperwork and making me feel right at home ! This office is by far the best Derm office I've gone too and i will continue to see them for my monthly skin checks !
