First time there today & I had a great experience. JP was fabulous! He listened to me and what I was needing to style my fine, wavy, curly hair. The color/highlights he suggested for added dimension looked great and natural. I love how he cut and styled my hair. It was dark when I left and I was parked around the corner on the street, so he walked me out to my car. What a gentleman! I'm a happy customer & will be back! 😊

I had such a great experience! My stylist, Kiah was friendly, professional, and so much fun to talk to — you can tell she really knows her craft. She listened to what I wanted, gave great suggestions, and my hair turned out even better than I imagined. The salon itself has such a cute, stylish decor and a really relaxed, welcoming vibe. Shayla greeted me at the door and was super friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. I will definitely be coming back💇🏽‍♀️✨

Shelby cut my daughters very thick, curly and beautiful hair after a long break between cuts. Shelby went OVER AND BEYOND to make the experience a wonderful one. My daughter’s texture is different than my own and she explained each step before she did it. She also educated me about different products to use, why the hair can respond differently to different techniques and more. Not only that, but Shelby was so great at affirming my daughter on how beautiful her natural curls are especially when we don’t get to see many girls that look like her in her school. It was so amazing to see my daughter’s curls come to life. Highly recommend Shelby for any of your curl needs!!!! Thank you Shelby ❤️

I really wanted to leave a review for the stylist JP Shafer because he truly did an amazing job on my hair. I have very fine, straight hair, and I was looking for that big, wavy/curly vintage Hollywood look for a project I’m working on. I had already tried two different stylists before him and they just weren’t able to achieve it because of my hair type, but JP did! You can tell he really knows what he’s doing. His experience in this industry shows right away, and he somehow made my hair do exactly what I needed. I was honestly so happy and relieved to finally find someone who could make this style happen on my hair. Not only that, but he was super nice and fun to talk to. We were chatting the whole time and I didn’t even realize how long the process took. I’m really happy I found him, and I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hair done with him from now on. Highly recommend! 💕

I took my 4.5 year old daughter to Hair Love KC for her first hair cut. I was excited and nervous at the same time! My daughter has wavy to curly hair. As a curly girl myself, I wanted to give my daughter the best first-haircut experience. 🫶🏽 Shelby was AMAZING! She was kind, friendly, patient, and she helped me collect my daughter’s hair clippings. She made my daughter and I both feel comfortable. She was so gentle with my daughter’s hair and did everything in her power to make her feel special. 🥹 We will both return for trims!
