Ashley is my forever hair stylist. What I like about her is you can show her pictures of what you're envisioning, talk through your thoughts, and share what overall aesthetic you're looking for. She will take into consideration your face shape, hair type, how much maintenance/work you want to do, etc. If you REALLY listen to her and heed her advice, you'll have the hairstyle you're looking for and will be very happy with the results! I have very thick wavy course hair. Most hairstylists have a hard time cutting my hair. Not Ashley! She even shows me how to style my hair with the amount of maintenance/work I'm willing to do. I've seen her 3 times now and have been a very satisfied customer each time!

I’ve been going to Meghan for years. She’s attentive, skilled, and great at making micro adjustments that take a haircut from good to great. The salon space is clean and roomy with tons of natural light.

Absolutely awesome! I have been going to Ashley at a|f salon for two years. She goes above and beyond for me! She is the best! I have been wearing extensions for 10 years now, and have been through a variety of stylist at different salons. She is hands down the most phenomenal with color matching / placement of the extensions! The salon environment is warm and friendly. Best salon in KC! I would highly recommend!

This is my first time growing my hair out. I didn’t really know how I wanted my hair to be cut. Ashley asked a lot of probing questions and gave me a haircut that fit me well. She recommended certain hair products and curated a specific hair routine for me. I couldn’t be happier! Not only is her studio welcoming but she was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I’ve contemplated writing this review for a month now, I in no way want to take away from Ashely or her salon, but had I saw a review like this, I may have went somewhere else. I thoroughly enjoyed Ashely as a person and feel she is very skilled in her areas of expertise! But I feel she was out of her comfort zone when she decided to take me on as a client. I was very upfront that I have blonde curly natural hair and my goal was to add volume/length to an area that wasn’t as long as my natural hair - due to a previous hair style I was growing out. I didn’t care about having longer hair - I wanted it to be natural looking to where no one could tell. She ensured me she works with curly extension clients and this is something she felt comfortable taking on. She asked for a $675 deposit and I gave her $1200 so she would know I was serious and excited about this process. I spent 4 hours with Ashley in which time she "color matched" my hair to the extensions, colored the extensions and attached them to my hair. The color didn’t match, the length was too long and looked faked - it was obvious I had extensions in, and the curl pattern was no where near my natural texture. She told me it would get curlier after a couple washes. On my way home I texted her that the color didn’t match nor did the curl pattern - she asked me to give it a few days. I went home and washed my hair and styled it trying to get it close - I texted her later that night that I hated them, they didn’t look natural and I could in no way walk around with these in my hair. She got me in 2 days later to remove them. When asked about a refund for my almost $1800 service she gave me a free half balayage and curl cut. I know extensions are pricy, I also know she spent time on this service. But I feel as a professional she should have never taken me on as a client. She did not supply the service I paid for and I was left paying $1800 for something I had in my head less than 48 hours. Not a very professional way of handling this service if you ask me.

My experience with Jordin was amazing! I have had trouble finding a new stylist since moving to town. I was looking to dye my hair and blend in my grays but I didn’t quite know what I wanted. She made sure to go over everything with me and we pinpointed what i liked most! She also got me in quickly! I messaged her on Tuesday and had an appointment on Saturday. From the cut to the color I was beyond satisfied. I cannot wait to see her again!
