H-E-B

The H-E-B in Harlingen has, by far, the best meat market in the area. I regularly travel from Weslaco just to buy my steaks here because the quality clearly surpasses any other meat market around. The butchers are consistently professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. You can find everything you need at this H-E-B, and even with renovations underway, it remains my favorite store in the entire RGV.

This H-E-B just loves to waste my time. Horrible customer service. God forbid they ever open another checkout lane. Came here to buy some flowers but the floral department does not exist anymore. Absolutely ridiculous.

Managers at this store are very tolerable, even openly supportive with their clients to make racist remarks directly to the construction and repair people that go to this store. I heard manager Rebe Fox telling a repair guy that they were a retail store and will ALWAYS side their customer, regardless of the issue. POOR MANAGEMENT!!! I would never visit a store that PROMOTED VIOLENCE.

The seasoned chicken grill ready drum and thighs are mmm delish so is the beef back ribs.

Just an FYI HEB, it's not a good choice to leave the shrimp tail on the sushi roll at the end piece. You're not supposed to do that as it is not edible and can create a chocking hazard. Looking out for ya. tY.

Tried to send money thru Western Union. The woman got impatient and refused to help me. She asked me to spell the name of the person I was sending money and when I misspelled it and tried to call the person she refused to give me service. She told me to step aside so she could assist someone else then when I tried to explain she kept refusing. Talked to the manager who basically did nothing. Never giving this place my business again. Ever.

Best grocery store in the country!!!
