GoGiJip Korean Steakhouse & ChiMaek gogijib & cimaeg

I recently visited GoGiJip for the first time, and it was a great introduction to Korean cuisine! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who were happy to explain the menu. I tried beef bulgogi, and it was packed with flavor—definitely a highlight. The side dishes were fresh and plentiful, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Portion sizes were generous, and everything felt authentic. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend for anyone new to Korean food or just looking for a solid Korean dining experience!

The service was amazing. The drinks were so so good. The kimchi and the fried rice cakes were so yummy.

Got sucked in by the banner ad for lunch specials on my way to another place. Delighted I did. The food was amazeballs and the frenetically cheerful atmosphere was contagious. Looking forward to exploring the menu.

Food was so fire I almost started crying. This was my first bite of food after almost 24 hours and it was legit an experience that transcended any other I’ve had in my life. The only thing I regret about my decision to purchase was that I did not dine in so that I could’ve immediately ordered more food. The online ordering process was very simple and liquids were packaged separately from the solids so it didn’t get soggy ❤️ The sweet and sour pork is definitely my fav out of the dishes I ordered and the black bean noodles were also really good :)) The next time I feel any ounce of hunger I am probably immediately driving here again.

There is a lot of good about this place, the atmosphere is pretty good and the food is decent. The prices seem pretty excessive… everything they serve lacks meat especially considering the cost. We did not get the all you can eat, which may have been better. This is very much a 4-star place but I was really disappointed that they applied an auto gratuity of almost 30%, it may have just been an error but I didn’t want to take the time to complain. Overall I feel this place is just overpriced and mediocre and the auto gratuity rubbed me the wrong way.

First time in a Korean BBQ place, and we were quite pleased. The variety of meats and sides was impressive and everything was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. The classic/hard rock playing was a pleasant surprise

Coming from Southern California KBBQ spots are a dime a dozen, from budget friendly pig out spots to high quality family friendly dining establishments that serve soft-serve ice cream. This place captures the essence of what makes a Korean BBQ place great! Excellent, attentive service and fun environment to enjoy if you like cooking your own food as we had the AYCE option. My wife and I just came from the Wiregrass area which we drove 2 hrs for and wanted to give it a shot since we don't have many options. It's a home run for us! We cooked brisket until our hearts content and enjoyed the sauces, scallion salad, mandoo (pot stickers), and japchae (we are used to it being a cold-served side dish, but it had the flavor).
