GG's BBQ

Love coming here. Today I went because I've been craving their brisket sandwich and Carolina BBQ sauce. Got regular fries today but they also have sweet potato fries.

No idea if the food is even worth it because we sat and waited for over 30 minutes for our food and they continued to serve other customers and to go orders. Even if it’s the best BBQ I’ve ever had, the service alone was enough of a put off. When asked what’s taking so long, I was just told "we have a lot of orders" when I watched 3 people who ordered AFTER us get their food and leave. ETA: $30 for a 3 meat plate and they didn’t even give us the sausage. This place is a joke and a rip off. The meat was more like boiled than BBQ - zero flavor

Edit: 5 out of 5 stars. when I first gave a review on this, it was an honest review (see below). Yet after some consideration I would like to modify my review. I woke up this morning and sat down to eat the left over ribs. I wasnt expecting much. To my surprise, they were delicious. I had a hard time reconciling my impressions of the ribs from last night to this morning. Last night I was expecting a whole different "type or style" of rib. I was expecting ribs smothered or heavily glazed in a sweet baby rays type of sauce, something like you would get from Chili's. GGs is a whole different type of rib. It is a dry smoky rib. If you judge it based on a heavely glazed rib, it will lose every time. This is something totally different. It was actually wonderful if you are expecting a dry rub rib. I wish I had more. I woke up this morning and was shocked at how delicious these ribs were. I just had to change my reference point. Id now give them a 5 out of 5 stars for a dry rub with a vinegar type sauce. They were stellar this morning. Old or previous review. The worst bbq ive ever had. I'll be honest. I never give bad reviews. The ribs are dry, dry, dry. Ive never had bbq as bad as this. I was really hoping this would be great. You could get more flavor from conoco convenience store beef Jerky. Rudy's up in springs is OK, but 1000 times better than this.

Great BBQ. Huge menu and some fun local variations and sandwiches. Great sweet and mustard based sauces! The chef was instructing some new staff on commercial kitchens. Probably didn’t need to overhear, but he knew 100% what he was talking about for food safety. Good the heat it! It’s very clean, fast, and tasty. Enjoyed and will be back.

A great BBQ place. With fresh bbq right off the smoker in the back. I had the brisket sandwich with onion rings. The sliced brisket was tender and cooked just right with good flavor. The spicy bbq sauce added a great flavor to the sandwich. The onion rings were fresh and delicious. I also had the banana pudding for dessert. It was fresh, well-made banana pudding, and great dessert to finish off lunch. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I'm writing this review with my total honesty and from my heart ! My Dad told me that he was craving ribs so I found this GG'S online and I called and made 2 orders of ribs and Mac&chz and potatoe wedges now when I get home I give my dad his dinner and we see that it has pulled pork Not ribs and potatoe wedges are so very hard on the outer side you have to cut them off because it's too hard to eat , we both were very disappointed with our meals , the only thing good about it was the lil portion of ribs that I got ,my dad & I shared them , All I received for BBQ sauce was 2 lil itty bitty containers which I don't feel is enough sauce. I am not rating this place highly / 2 unhappy customers will never order from this company again!!!!

Kinda weird to have to pay for bbq sauce at a bbq restaurant. Ordered 3 meals and only got 4 small bbq sauces and was told i have to for more. 4 $ for 8 wild extortion
