They were very nice as I checked in however, once I sat down in the waiting room, the lady at the front pronounced my last name wrong twice, and I had to keep correcting her to make sure it was correct on the file. It was also a longer wait than I had anticipated. Christy was OK. Her nurse was good. Honestly, she just checked all over my body and froze a few spots off and cut growth off on my leg and that was it. I would have liked to have spoken to her about skin care and possibly some Botox But it didn’t seem like she wanted to make any talk so I would like to make another appointment, but I don’t know if this is the right place. I have heard some really good people. Tell me that they go to Kristy and they really like her and trust her so maybe I give a second chance. When her nurse called me back, she called me Mr. WHITMIRE and because my name is ROBBIE so she thought I was a boy. It’s OK that’s happened all my life. Overall it was a good experience.

The young lady doing the check-ins was very professional and sweet. I wish I felt the same about the treatment team. For one, I walked past the providers office and I could see her from the corner of my eye staring as I walked by. Her nurse came in and didn’t seem too concerned and was very fake, flat, and just not welcoming. She leaves to report to the provider, which I’m not sure if they know how thin the walls are, but I could hear all the whispering and bursts of laughter once she left my room. After that, they enter my room (flat and fake smiles everywhere) there is now three of them. Not sure why they had a third person with them, but normally when they’re training they introduce that person as someone that is training and asks if it is ok if they observe, which is always ok with me (I’ve worked in healthcare for 12 years) They said nothing. These women were totally unfazed by my concern for my skin and I could tell they just wanted to get me out of there. You can tell they’re not used to seeing Black women in that office as they showed me a total disregard once I left the waiting room. It was just so uncomfortable once I left the waiting room area.

Georgia Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk into the office, you feel welcomed and cared for. Their expertise, patience, and genuine concern for the patient sets them apart. They take the time to listen and explain everything clearly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch medical care.

Very friendly staff, got me in at appt time and will be returning hopefully very soon to get the test done to be able to get the medicine to fix my foot/toe. I know they are trying their best to get me taken care of

Christie and the staff are WONDERFUL!!! I have been a patient there for almost 20 years and they are very professional!!! They check to make sure that I don't have any concerns. I recommend them highly!!!

Wonderful experience from checkin to checkout. I'm new to the area and was hesitant since I absolutely love and adore my derm back at home. Checkin ladies were so sweet and welcoming. PA was great and very knowledgeable and doctor was suburb. I highly recommend Georgia Dermatology.

The 2 professionals who called me in and went over my concerns were very thorough and caring. I was never rushed. Christie reviewed what they wrote down and asked her own questions to get more specific information from me. She suggested additional medication and made sure I understood why. I made a 6 month appointment and was finished within 30 minutes.
