This used to be my favorite market in the area, even tho' it's small and cramped and a little overpriced on MOST (not all) items. But the staff was always great. Now, they all seem like they don't want to be there. They're rude and disinterested in helping. Even the manager, a generally friendly fellow, seems like he's had enough. I think it's family run and they're all related, but it's clearly time these folks move on to something else -- they're burnt out. Oh, and all of the prices have gone up more here than at any of the other supermarkets, and fewer and fewer items are on sale (which is NOT the case at literally ANY of the other supermarkets).

This is the only one star review I’ve given ever. I used to shop here frequently and it’s a small and narrow place to shop often lacking options that a "gourmet" shop should prioritize like Parmesan Reggiano. So when the staff are rude and lazy, it’s a real shame. Today, one of the check out persons did not even bother to help me and the Manager was too busy playing video games to address my complaint. Who is the owner and who is running this place? It’s a mess.

Don't trust fresh products or management. I bought a few groceries and when I got to my sister's place there was a disgusting rancid smell in my bag. The halloumi cheese I had just bought was slimy and absolutely reeked, fresh from the store. I immediately bagged it and put it in my freezer so that I could return it next time I was in the area but I brought it back, with the receipt and they refused to return or exchange it because it was past three days. They're putting out rotten food, which based on other reviews, seems to be a pattern, so be careful.

Spoiled meat I purchased 2 racks of lamb that were both rotten all green upon opening and smelled horrible. I literally opened the meat the morning after purchase it says sells by 2/14 I spent $40 on meat for my sons birthday dinner and it was ruined. To make matters worse, when I tried to call the store no one would answer the phone after the first call requesting a manger. I am saddened by this

I go here whenever I need groceries. Prices are pretty affordable, customer service is good. It's a small little grocery store so you have to step out of the way of other customers in your same aisle, but generally this store has everything you need. They do have discounted items that you don't need a store card for. Convenient.

We've shopped at Frank's for three years and often order deliveries. Today I discovered that they had delivered the wrong product. I took it back in the pouring rain and even though they had the order and we've been regular customers, the person at the counter refused the exchange and was rude.

Frank's Market is the loveliest little place! I'm so glad I stumbled across them in my neighborhood. They have a great selection of fresh food options, beautiful produce, and the staff are SO nice. The atmosphere of the market is so lovely too, I will definitely be returning here! UPDATE (11/21/2022): I left my original review here for reference, but I'm sad to say I'm reducing my rating to 2-stars. 🙁 There have been two instances now where I've shopped at Frank's and came home with moldy food. The first instance was pre-packaged cookies under a brand name. I figured it was the company that packaged the cookies that were at fault, so I let the experience go and deemed it a one-off. However, I bought groceries yesterday and I discovered this morning that a package of cookies I bought (made by a local retailer out of New Jersey, that were picked from the specialty bakery item section) were also moldy. They were a totally different brand, in a totally different location in the store, but were still...moldy. One incident I can understand, things happen. Twice? I will no longer be buying my groceries here. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great little market for flowers, cleaning supplies, soap/shampoo. Just, beware of what you're taking home if you're purchasing perishable foods. I can't continue to waste money on things that I end up having to toss because it's a health hazard to keep in my home, let alone consume.
