This is why people despise cops. While real officers risk their lives with honor, Officer Heino drags their names through the mud. He doesn’t carry a badge to serve the public—he uses it as a shield for his arrogance and a tool to bully anyone who challenges him. This isn’t a lapse in judgment; it’s pure, unapologetic abuse of power. And if this is how he behaves when a camera is rolling, you have to wonder how much worse it gets when no one’s watching.

An officer from this police department once asked if an employee asking him to leave their business could be considered assault on an officer. That should say enough about this department. the employee was arrested solely because he was disrespectful and told officers they were not welcome. The officers did not arrest the employee for a new crime (like disorderly conduct) but instead called his probation agent to trigger a "PO hold". This is a loophole to bypass the need for probable cause for an arrest. You can check out the body cam on youtube. Great job eau Claire police department!

Officer Heino needs to face some serious consequences, you shouldn’t be allowed to jeopardize an innocent citizens freedom, possibly for years on end, simply due to your officers fragile ego. Disgusting behavior that must be addressed immediately.

What an absolute joke I’m an Australian citizen just pushed a video of Officer Heino Arresting a man at his place of work for no good reason Officer Heino totally provoked that situation and acted childish. He needs to be fired I would like to believe nothing like that would ever happen my country what a joke

Saw the bodycam video of officer Heino making a complete exaggeration to the PO of the workers behavior solely because his fragile ego got bruised when the worker asked him to not block the intersection, and wanted to arrest him. This behavior is totally unjust and I hope the man receives justice

Officer Heino deserves to be fired complete abuse of power because a gas station attendant expressed his first amendment right and clearly showed no obstruction, lied to his PO on the phone to put him under arrest not to mention walking back inside the gas station after the official investigation ended which is clear instigation this needs to be addressed the right way
