This school district's egregious misconduct and relentless mistreatment of me as a teenager, based on false accusations later proven untrue by a confession and documented evidence, caused lasting harm. Administrators and ECPD harassed me nearly daily, culminating in my unjust expulsion from school—all driven by lies that were eventually recanted. I was also falsely accused of serious misconduct, allegations disproven only after I endured severe hardship at the hands of ECPD. What's even worse is that this school district used the law firm Weld-Riley, who not only advised on my expulsion but also represented the district at the hearing. As a young person fighting these injustices, I faced a system still determined to crush my voice for daring to stand up. The situation took a disturbing turn when Steve Weld, the president and founder of Weld-Riley, embarked on a 30-year personal vendetta against me. He attempted to have me fired from jobs, and succeeded in terminating me in 2010 and again in 2021—both of which were wrongful terminations. I prevailed in lawsuits for both terminations, proving that they were unjust. I represented myself in federal court as a pro se litigant and won a 2022 whistleblower complaint, with a federal judge acknowledging ethics issues due to Weld’s prolonged personal vendetta. The judge also threatened Weld with sanctions for attempting to misuse my past against me in court, further confirming his unethical conduct. Despite the district's deplorable failures and betrayal, I've built a successful life and take pride in my resilience. The fact that I prevailed in federal court and defeated Weld's appeals underscores the egregious nature of the district's actions. It's clear that their modus operandi is to discredit and destroy reputations to avoid accountability. If this school district had any integrity left, they would acknowledge their grave error and award me a diploma, even though I was able to get a GED and HSED in 2 days after I was wrongfully expelled, scoring high on all tests. But no thanks to the Eau Claire Area School District, it was due to my computer and my own home library. A critical question remains: Did this school district know about their attorney's 30-year vendetta against me, or was he acting on his own? My experience suggests it was an attempt to discredit me in case I went public with evidence of wrongdoing, raising further concerns about the district's complicity and lack of accountability.

What is wrong with you people making kids wear masks? Let them breath the fresh air. Wearing masks doesn't solve anything except your political agendas. I'm sick and tired of all the lies the democrats push onto us about the covid 19. This virus barely affects kids so leave them alone and change the ruling you think you can push onto these kids. They have the right not to wear one If they don't want to.

Eau Claire School District cares about keeping kids safe by having mask requirement. As Covid effects everyone, regardless of political beliefs. Props to Eau Claire School District board for having a brain and keeping those safe.

This school district has went downhill over the last 12 years!! The school board doesn’t listen to the students nor the parents and some of the teachers are no good at teaching. Pretty sad when a teacher wants a student to be punctual but can’t set an example and do the same. Or a teacher that blatantly states in an email it’s too much work to update a main website used by the district.

I am extremely thankful that they care enough about the health of their students and staff to require masks.

I once got a lunch detention because I went to the bathroom without grabbing a pass and signing out.
