Dr Hurtado Dentistry, Invisalign, Implants, Orthodontist, Laser - Santa Barbara

I tried getting a light emergency visit with three other dentists until I called Dr. Hurtado and he took me right away. The others were going to make me wait days until having the sharp metal wire of my broken permanent retainer removed. Dr Hurtado did it in minutes and was much more reasonably priced!! The best part was feeling seen and soothed in a moment of discomfort. His 35 years of experience really shows and I’ve never been in such a relaxed environment dental office. Wonderful, friendly staff all around!

Went there for emergency when on vacation for cap replacement and they found a filling that had fallen out as well, about a year ago. Well, the cap stayed, but it was formed so awkwardly that the adjacent tooth had a 2.5mm average cylindrical gap causing additional issues and pain. Not worth keep driving back for garbage dental work, even if its complementary. I'm cutting my losses and hope you get a better service than I did. It was extremely peaceful, always on time and I never saw another patient despite 2 visits.

Dr. Hurtado, Dr. Hoffman and their team are the most thoughtful and honest dentistry team in the area. After going to a different dentist in SB and being given a laundry list of things wrong with my teeth, I went to Dr. Hurtado’s office and was treated honestly and respectfully (turns out, not much was wrong - the previous dentist just wanted money). Julio does a wonderful job taking care of patients and creating a comfortable and professional space. Nicole was a great tech that works with care and gentleness. Couldn’t recommend this office more.

I've been going to Dr. Hurtado's office for about ten years. Technically, he's the first person I told I was pregnant after I cracked a tooth and had to refuse an x-ray because I was 99% sure I was pregnant (I was). He wasn't even phased. He used some x-rays from a previous visit and created a crown for me that I've had zero issues with. When it came time for my son to have his first dentist appointment, there was no doubt in my mind where we'd take him. Dr. Hurtado is gentle and kind and staffs the highest quality dentists, hygienists, and administration. For kids, I'd definitely recommend Dr. Hurtado, not everyone is great with kids, but he really is. For adults, every dentist I've seen there has been great. Julio at the front desk is a mastermind and will take care of all your insurance and scheduling questions.

Best in Santa Barbara by far!!! High quality and very profesional dentistry! This amazing team took care of all my dental work and now I'm a very happy man. Excellent teeth cleaning and initial consultation. Staff was able to quickly book my husband and I for follow up appointments as well. Highly recommend Dr Hurtado and his staff to anyone in search of a great dentist.

Really lovely experience overall. Julio at the front desk, was super friendly and genuine, offered me a discount because it was my first time. Really nice guy and seems to love people. Doctor White was kind and patient as well, there just seems to be a really good energy flowing through this place. Unlike any other dentist office I’ve been to before. And also much more affordable than the other dentists in town I called. I will definitely be back and would wholeheartedly recommend this office to anyone looking for dental work. Thanks very much!
