Dr. Portella is absolutely THE BEST dermatologist I have ever been to!!!! I have stage 3 melanoma cancer and I am 3 months pregnant. My diagnosis is serious, and trying to find the right team of doctors is absolutely CRUCIAL. He was truly AMAZING!!!! He was professional, yet genuinely listened to my concerns, and was prompt to address removing a mole on my hand and a few other moles that had been bothering me without me saying anything first. I appreciated his thorough time spent explaining his approach to my husband and I. He was very personable, kind, and I felt like I could share my concerns without feeling like my opinions didn’t matter. He spent time on the phone the same day visiting with surgeons to get my surgery scheduled immediately. His team and staff were EXCELLENT!!! Very attentive, caring, and quick to return my calls same day. Since I have started this journey, I have met with more than 5 dermatologists and none of them had the experience, bed side manner and expertise to match Dr. Portella. Thank you sooooo much!!! HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Portela and his entire staff are incredible. Their combination of compassion, professionalism, skill, and friendly customer service is some of the best I have ever seen in any group, business or industry!! Dr. Portela consistently checked on pain levels throughout my multiple procedures, some at difficult spots such as the shin with very little skin to work with. The pre-operation discussions were caring and informative, and post-surgery the healing has been top notch - much better than expected. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Portela and his team to anyone looking for and needing he and his team's expertise!

Dr. Portela was absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dermatologist. They understood my situation and the need to have my son seen as soon as possible. They got me in the same day I called and had biopsy results for me within a few days. Anywhere else I called was going to make us wait weeks before we even got an appointment. The office staff there was super friendly and great to work with. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! Thank you for outstanding care and service!!

I've had bad experiences at other dermatologists. This was great! The staff was very friendly and professional, and also very quick. Dr. Portela was very thorough, and made me feel like I was being very well taken care of! I would highly recommend them, but I won't! Because it'll only make it harder to get in to see him again!

Dr. Portela was amazing. He's easy to work with, friendly, funny, and puts you right at ease. He patiently answered questions, explained each step of the cosmetic procedure I was having done, and I was more than happy with the results. I would trust him and recommend him for any dermatology needs.
