Dr. Attica C. Chang, MD

I was going to Dr. Changs office for a few about 1⅕ years. The practice was good I guess. My issue is that they were charging me an extra fee as a "new patient" and I was $125 I think. They had never disclosed that. I asked them to stop since I had been a patient for over a year and they said no and that it applied to patients less than 2 years. I felt like I got robbed. I canceled my next appointment and rescheduled with Delray Dermatolgy. Not only are my bills lower but the two practices incomparable. Delray Dermatology is premier medical office.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went into the office because I had a rash. Didn’t see Dr Chang saw his associate. He couldn’t determine what the rash was. While I was in the office I had asked to do a full body scan. Dr Chang’s associate took a biopsy. I told him I had the same mark on another part of my body. Of course the biopsy came back negative. I have been calling the office to see Dr Chang but he has no availability until April. In the meantime I am still breaking out in hives. I was told on Thursday to send in a photo do that Dr Chang can take a look. Meanwhile, I had called on Friday and was told that Dr Chang would get back to me. Today is Monday again I called and was told the doctors are looking at the photos that I had sent and would call me back. Again, no call. I worked in the medical field for 25 years. This is unheard of!!! Stay clear from this office!!!!!

Zero stars would be more appropriate for this practice. I was a patient for 16 years and experienced a shift from a decent practice to complete caos and lack of service and accountability. They used to have an amazing dermatologist, so I never really needed to se DR Chang, but she left a few years ago. I made several attempts to see Dr Chang, but he would cancel on me while I was at the waiting area and sent out an apprentice doctor to see me. When I had moles that needed to be removed, they made sure they took away just enough tissue for me to have to go back a second and even a third time for additional tissue removal and testing, which resulted in very high bills for me. This practice is all about making money in exchange for providing terrible service. Which is difficult to understand since so many people work there, but not a single one seems to know what they’re supposed to be doing. Do yourself a favor and choose another dermatologist.

So far, no good. I had an appointment and an hour later I'm still in the waiting room. On top of that the front desk staff are treating the waiting room patients like lepers. There's a glass window that the staff keeps shut at all times and are visibly annoyed when someone asks them a question or keeps that window open for too long. They are acting as if the people in the waiting room had flu and not sunburns. I will update this review if the doctor turns out helpful, but so far very bad service.

I had to visit this office four times in a month for a rash and to complete some allergy testing. I was seeing Jamie, who is wonderful and finally helped me figure out what was causing my rash. She also prescribed both natural and pharmaceutical options to treat it that didn't cost a fortune. Unfortunately, every single appointment the receptionist (the one with thin, penciled-on eyebrows) was so rude that I wanted to leave. This is the kind of place where the office staff smiles sarcastically at you, then closes the window and talks loudly about you so the entire waiting room can hear it. I'm not sure what kind of power trip this girl is on but clearly patient care is the last thing she's concerned about.

I called in for an appointment and the person who answered the phone acted like I was bothering her. She asked who I saw last time like I would really remember if it was a year ago. When she figured out who it was she told me that she is out on maternity leave and the other PA was booked solid for the next month. At that point, I told her that I would fine someone else.

Very knowledgeable doctors excellent staff and services. Highly recommend. !!
