First time buying here. I usually just com in and browse. Bought Pokémon AH and a Chinese surprise plush. The young woman who serviced me was very nice and patient. The owner is extremely nice and patient. Funny guy also.

Walked in looking for OP cards to build my deck and the guy at first was helpful and seemed cool. Got a few cards from a binder and the guy sold them to me at a higher price because they were "pre errata" meaning they were printed with an error in the text of the card’s ability, gave me a whole speech on how it’s more rare and more powerful, plus these cards were from the 1st set so I thought it was justified. (Should’ve known something was up when he says he doesn’t know OP cards but the girl does and when she tried to sell them to me at a lower but still overpriced charge then he swooped in looking at prices and showing me on Pricecharting). Come to find out after going on the OFFICIAL One Piece site the cards were POST ERRATA meaning they were printed with the fixed error text and weren’t worth near as much as I was charged. Tried DMING on insta didn’t answer went back next day in person showed him the official site and he was still trying to say he was right because he uses the Pricechart, trying to show him that the OFFICIAL WEBSITE has the texts and he kept trying to refute it!!! Even pulled up a blurry picture on eBay like what???? How are you arguing with the official site. Really tried to scam me with a smile on his face! His attitude did a 360 once I said there was something up with the cards! They’re not even valuable cards to begin with. If his attitude would’ve been different he admitted he messed up it would’ve been cool but he couldn’t admit he was wrong. Got my money back and I’m never setting foot in this store again. Scam artists

The gunpla markups feel criminal at times but they're at least consistently 25~ dollars for MOST of the high grades. I got a Dom Tropen for $27 including tax which was about the only reasonable deal at the store. If you're in Chinatown, it's fun, but don't come by if you're looking for cheap deals on TCGs or gunpla.

came here because i was curious about prices especially since this is a card store in manhattan. prices are decent compared to other card shops. i bought some single packs just to see what the hit rates were and i got 4/8 hits which is pretty good for loose packs! normally people say you shouldn’t get loose packs because they could be weighed but i think this store is legit enough and genuine. will come back for sure!

Awesome place for Pokémon cards and anime!

I stopped by this store to check their Pokémon prices. I usually compare every shop by the cost of a Prismatic Evolution Booster Pack or Prismatic Evolution Surprise Box. In most NYC stores, the Surprise Box goes for around $40–$50 (about $10–$12 per pack). Here, the price was $70, then lowered to $65, which is still very high compared to other local shops. I simply mentioned that the price seemed above market — nothing more. Then I asked if I could take a look at their graded slabs. That’s when the staff member said something like, "If you can’t afford a $20 booster, maybe you shouldn’t be looking at slabs worth hundreds of dollars." That comment was completely uncalled for and disrespectful. I wasn’t asking for a discount, just having a normal conversation about prices. I left right after that. The store might have interesting cards, but no one deserves to be talked to like that.
