Cozy spot with very friendly staff. And that's just the vibes. The food and boba is top notch. Consistently soft and bouncy boba with delicately sweet and complex. Perfectly season chicken with a crispy spicy sweet coating. Would recommend.

I lovee charuma and it’s my favorite boba store in pvd. Also I really appreciate student discount🥹🥹 They have the best quality bubbles and black milk tea and most of the teas are not too sweet. One small thing that could be improved is the consistency of sweetness. I usually order 70% sugar, but it tasted slightly different by its size or who’s making it. If there were a more standardized way to measure sweetness, it would be perfect!

I was excited to visit Charuma because from the Google reviews and the pictures, it looks like a great quality boba shop. I like that the menu is limited but unique, and that they have lactose-free milk options! On the flip side, I was disappointed with the actual tea that we got. I got the Jasmine Milk Tea (75% sugar) with almond milk, and the XL Jasmine Green tea (no milk, 25% sugar). Both of the drinks, regardless of the sugar or milk, had a faint flavor and even felt watery at times. The only redeeming quality were the house-made bubbles, which were absolutely delicious (soft and sweet). I’m not sure if it was a one-time thing but hence, the 3 star review.

Well interior decor. Their specialty is homemade boba which taste really good. I like different milk options with Oat Milk, Half and Half or Almond Milk. I prefer fresh fruit tea versus syrup so I didn’t try any of the fruit tea. Hope service can be improved with more friendly attitude to customers. Strong fried chicken lack of ventilation upon walking in to the store.

Staff were sweet and helpful, we got the pu-er milk tea, something beauty milk tea, passion fruit green tea, and sweet potato fries with seaweed salt. Everything was great, seaweed salt could have been stronger and saltier though. Small location so maximum seating is basically 8 people in the whole place. Cups were adorbs

Incredibly delicious oolong teas (light and smoky) with different bobas (house made and brown sugar), respectively. Also got their popcorn chicken, super flavorful (marinated) and juicy (not over cooked). Will have to try their other seasonings like chili and salt/pepper- I tried their seaweed which was like a nice furikake-type of seasoning, sweet with a hint of sea saltiness. We will be back! Please make a shop in Boston ….

My first time having bubble tea but I could tell the quality of the ingredients and the care the owners have taken with this new business is wonderful. Everything is authentic and the true ingredients and seasoning of Taiwanese chicken cutlet which was absolutely delicious! Still go again!
