Dr. Soleymani and staff were above and beyond my expectations. I had Mohs surgery to remove a spot of basal cell carcinoma on my nose. They were able to remove the area of concern. I'm really glad my dermatologist recommended this place for my Mohs surgery. But, I probably would have found it on my own thanks to the myriad 5-star reviews and Instagram fame. I did consult with other providers, but none gave me the peace of mind and quality of care that I received from Dr. Soleymani. (One other doctor even charged a $400 consultation fee before I could even book the appointment.) Dr. Soleymani and his team made me feel so at ease, I actually looked forward to the surgery. They were able to book me in 4 weeks from consult, where other doctors had waiting lists that were months long. The surgery itself was not any more unpleasant than a dental appointment. I've experienced more pain getting cosmetic injectables in my face than the Mohs surgery. Dr. Soleymani was quick, precise, explained everything he was doing and was constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable. I was worried about scarring, and he explained how he was going to approach the wound closure to minimize scarring and even offered to do complimentary laser and microneedling after it healed. I got to listen to Green Day while being stitched up. I'm a little sore the day after, but felt no pain or discomfort during the procedure. I had a basal cell carcinoma removed near my nose in two passes, and the entire procedure took about 3.5 hours with the waiting between incisions. Not bad!

The entire staff at CDMSS is professional and caring. Dr. Soleymani is friendly and comforting in approaching MOHS surgery. His assistant is excellent at providing information on what she is doing and how to care for your surgical site. This was my third surgery with CDMSS. Like most, I don't like the idea of surgery. But, I am at ease when going in for a MOHS procedure.

I learn so much from Dr. Teo S. He truly spends times to educate his patients and that’s so hard to find these days. I didn’t feel rushed or as if my questions were burdening him. It’s obvious he cares about his patients and loves his job. That truly makes a difference and I’m grateful! Highly recommend Dr. Teo and his team!

I have been seeing Dr. Black for concerns related to the skin on my legs, and I feel very fortunate to have found her. From my very first appointment, Dr. Black made me feel comfortable and at ease. She took the time to thoroughly explain the nature of my skin issue and outlined the steps necessary to address it. After dealing with my skin problem for two weeks, I was a bit nervous. First, I was diagnosed with melanoma, and was referred to California dermatology &Mohs surgery specialists. They called and set up a consultation with me to see Dr. Soleymani. He looked at where the cancer was located on my nose, and explained in detail, how the melanoma would be removed, and how he would repair the area on my nose and face. When my wife and I showed up for the surgery, we were welcomed by a very friendly staff, and when it was time for the surgery, we went into a very clean and comfortable surgery room. During the surgery Dr. Soleymani and the nurse made me completely comfortable, and after the melanoma was removed and tested, he explained in detail what he was doing while repairing the area on my face. Also at one point the Dr. asked my wife and I if we would like a cup of coffee , and , he, himself, got it for us. All in all, I would recommend anyone facing Mohs surgery to try and have it done at CDMS if possible. I've had multiple Mohs surgeries, and this is the best experience I've ever had.
