I went to Dr. Evangelista for hormone balancing, expecting a treatment plan tailored to my needs. Instead, he put me on testosterone without properly considering my condition, which completely backfired. I gained 12 pounds instead of losing weight, and my hormone levels worsened. When I asked him medical questions and sought explanations, rather than taking responsibility for the negative effects of his treatment, he became defensive and even threatened me. I am still suffering from this treatment since October and he instead of be responsible for it, just threatened me. I wouldn't even yellow one of the stars here if the system would allow me to post this. I just want every women know that our hormones and body operates differently even in similar situations, and copying a single treatment and past it for every women isn't professional. Additionally, I paid out of pocket for medication ordered through his office, but they failed to inform me about the delivery ( they should have let me know the delivery time for that medication without any label on it). I only found out two weeks later when I tracked it down at the post office myself. This practice lacks responsibility, accountability, and professionalism. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and ethical doctor for hormone treatment, I strongly advise seeking care elsewhere. It’s disappointing to see Dr. Evangelista deflect responsibility rather than address the legitimate concerns I raised about my treatment. I encourage anyone reading this to compare my respectful approach to his dismissive and unprofessional response. Instead of explaining why his treatment worsened my condition, he resorted to personal attacks and false accusations. I never wanted to return to his office—despite multiple calls from his staff asking me to schedule another visit. Why would I willingly pay out of pocket again for treatments that harmed my health? When I questioned his approach, rather than taking responsibility, he became defensive and, ultimately, threatened me. I want people to pay attention to the difference in our language and behavior. Instead of addressing my valid concerns about his treatment, Dr. Evangelista resorted to deflecting responsibility, attacking my character, and even accusing me of harassment just because I asked him to explain my worsening health conditions. I sought his help to balance my hormones, but he prescribed a one-size-fits-all testosterone pellet without properly considering my individual condition. As a result, my health deteriorated significantly—I gained 12 pounds instead of losing weight, and my hormones became more unbalanced than before. When I asked him about this, he refused to take responsibility. Despite his claim that he "discharged" me, his office repeatedly called me to schedule another appointment, which I declined. Why would I return and pay out-of-pocket for treatments that worsened my condition? Additionally, I paid for medication in his office that was supposed to be delivered, but no one informed me when it arrived. I later discovered it sitting at the post office two weeks later, showing a complete lack of responsibility and patient care. Patients deserve a knowledgeable and accountable doctor, not one who avoids responsibility and threatens patients for asking medical questions.
