What we got: Combo B (corn cheese, pork belly salad and soju bomb) $37 Combo C ( padak, French fries and a bottle of beer) Pineapple fried rice Takoyaki Literally have no complaints everything was great hear, kimchi fried rice had perfect amount of spice and flavor and the bacon pieces really give it a interesting flavor balance, corn cheese has the right amount of cheese were you never had any clumps of cheese and the corn was very sweet in flavor too yummy! There padak is soft and crunchy at the same time . The takoyaki had a good amount of octopus inside of them pleased with that as well this is a great spot I’ll be back for sure
The Golbaengi somyeon (spicy noodle dish) was good. I really enjoyed that one. But the fries topped with meat were disappointing. The meat felt was chopped too finely and had a little smell? Also, they gave styrofoam disposable plates as personal plates for hot food, which didn’t really make sense to me.
This place serves great Korean bar foods. Their chicken wings w/ sweet and spicy sauce (this is the traditional flavor) are really good. It’s better than bonchon, bbq, and any other Korean fried chicken I ate in the Valley. Ttoekbokki is pretty decent and I like all the topping options except soggy dumplings. I wish they offered crunch fried dumplings instead for ttoekbokki. Corn and spicy pork dish was strangely delicious like I couldn’t stop eating even though it seemed like it shouldn’t be good. Good atmosphere inside and service is very good.
The spicy mussels we're unrealesque. Plump, super fresh, and swimming in this addictive, garlicky gochujang sauce that had me debating licking the plate in public.. Perfect kick, tons of flavor, not just spicy for spicy’s sake. Zero misses. This place is officially in my rotation. Thank you for your attention to this matter 🐹
Overall experience was great. The bar/restaurant does make you feel like you are in a bar in South Korea. The food was very good and the kimchi tasted fresh. However the only thing keeping me from rating this place 5 stars is that the food and drinks are overpriced. The Soju is marked up at least 2~3 times and the portion of the food doesn't match the price. Overall I rate this place 4.5
Fun environment. Perfect place to come Hang out, eat, drink, socialize. All the food was delicious. I especially loved the sauce on the fried chicken. Will be back again with more people in tow to brag about how much I love the Drunken Tiger.
I’ve been coming here for almost 8 years and it’s just not the same anymore. Same dishes I’ve been getting for years and each time I come they skip out. Look at the photo comparison of what I got today vs. before of the SAME DISH. Just disappointed every time I go. First pic is from today and the ones after are from before.
