Went to this location for the first time and we loved it. We’ve had Korean food only once before but this was absolutely mouthwatering. We ordered the pork dumplings (highly recommend!), the seafood food scallion jeon as appetizers and the Galbi and Hot Stone Bibimap as our mains. The Galbi was absolutely delicious, probably the best cooked meat we’ve ever had. Our favorite dishes were the Galbi and the dumplings! 🥟 we will definitely be back! Note - some of the main dishes arrived sooner than the appetizers which was fine for us and the service was moderately good so no complaints from us on that end.

Went to Babo Jumak with a friend on a Monday around 12 p.m. We did a walk-in, no reservation required. Very cool spot right away. The place has a simple, no-frills atmosphere, but a great vibe. We ordered an AnDong (peach) that was sweet and excellent. For food, we had the pork belly and a few other dishes, all of which were very good. We also tried the steak tartare, which unfortunately seemed frozen — that was the only miss of the visit. Everything else was solid, the vibe was great, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and consider the tartare an exception rather than the rule.

Came here while on vacation with my wife and our friends. One of our friends found this spot on TikTok, and I'm so glad she did! First off, the interior is so articulate and tasteful! I love that you have to go through a curtain to get to the bathroom, that's cool! Second off, the service was phenomenal! I can't remember our waitress' name but she was an absolute Rockstar! Super outgoing personality, hilarious and encouraging 👍🏻 Third, the food and drinks! I had never had nor heard of corn silk tea, so I tried it. It's kind of bizarre, but I liked it! It smells like buttered popcorn, and tastes like, well, corn! For our appetizers we got the pork dumplings and the Tteokbokki. The dumplings were good, but the Tteokbokki...Oh my gosh! Literally the best I've ever had! Such wonderful balance of flavors and textures made for the perfect Tteokbokki! And yes, despite being White I've had it more than once 😂 And my entree: Beef Tartare Bibimbop. Oh...my...goodness....I was not ready for how incredible it was, it was mind blowingly good! That sauce that's at the bottom of the bowl is absolutely to die for! And the presentation is worthy of a food magazine, its so colorful! Finally, dessert. We got the fish stuffed with matcha ice cream and red beans. Again, so good!! Kudos to our friend for finding this place 👏

The new renovations are beautiful, and the restaurant feels very clean and homey. The staff are kind and the banchan were all very good. We only got two dishes- the tteokbokki and the squid and pork bulgogi (more than enough for two people). Both dishes came quickly and steaming hot, and the tteokbokki was delicious with great flavor. The squid and pork bulgogi was good but we were very disappointed by how little bulgogi the dish had and felt it was not worth the price. Overall though, we had a good time and would come again to try other dishes.

Very cute place. The menu has excellent options and while the initial price may seem steep, the portions are large- enough for two meals (for me at least!). I had the lunch special and the seafood jeon (Korean pancake). Make sure to ask for it extra crispy!

First time here, the service needs a lot of improvement, but the food was good! 👍😋 We enjoyed every dish! Especially the seafood pancake! 😊
