We're visiting Chicago for the first time and I'm glad we stopped here for breakfast. The place is cozy and welcoming. The food was mindblowing and abundant and the Guatemalan coffee truly lived up to our expectations. We ordered the lemon cream pancakes which were perfect because I'm not a fan of overly sweet food. My husband had the Guatemalan Breakfast and it tasted just like home (we are Salvadorean). There's not one thing we'd change about our visit here. Shoutout to Rosbelinda, our server, who made the experience to be next level with her kindness and attentiveness.

OMG - will now be my ‘take everyone’ to brkfst spot. My girlfriend was here visiting from Belize for her birthday so took her there, EVERYTHING was AWESOME!!! Staff /Genesis , hope I didn’t mess up spelling name was awesome- I’m a little picky but in a polite way!!!😉 We had brkfst of meat lovers with pancakes ( fluffy & flavorful). Cappuccinos were perfection - not too sweet & I like special coffee drinks sweet. Was right amount(the price - great for what we got). And also had the Mango cheesecake waffle(came with a waffle cone on top of the waffle-awesome idea) with perfection side of Sunnyside up eggs(this is where I get picky- with my eggs). Just look at the pictures I guarantee you it’s better tasting than the pics look!!!!! 10/10 for Perfect Brunch . Met the chef Belman( hope I’m not butchering his name😀). Said they opens little less than 6 mths ago. I WILL BE THERE often! I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!! ANOTHER IPDATE……. So much has changed in there menu….i added added pics of new menu. I forgot ton take a pic of my chicken fried steak- they ADDED more entrees and ALSO have added a ‘TO GO’ Asian menu. Their chicken Phad Thai is amazing!! Update…….tried another dish! Great as well Update (1/14/25) another great brkfst. Birthday celebration & 9 of us, our food came in good timing & served together & was still hot. Great service. Rose was patient & attentive. She makes a great latte( I’m a little picky with mine) & cappuccino 😋.

Great food and service located in our Albany Park neighborhood. I have gone a few times with my wife and toddler and we’ve all enjoyed the experience. The chilaquiles were delicious and the crab Benedict was amazing. Also enjoyed the cocktails and their passion fruit juice.

I visited this place for brunch time. We ordered shakshuka, scrambled eggs with vegetables, a mango mimosa, an Oreo milkshake, and matcha crepes. Unfortunately, we didn’t really enjoy our experience. First of all, the service was disappointing. When we placed our order, the waitress wrote everything down, but she kept forgetting items. We had to remind her multiple times about things we had already ordered. Each time, we had to wait a few extra minutes for her to bring what was missing. The restaurant was not busy — there were only a few tables occupied — so it was surprising that the service was still so slow and disorganized. As for the food, the shakshuka was very unusual. It didn’t look authentic at all, and it was not what I expected. It was my first time trying shakshuka prepared in this way, and unfortunately, I didn’t like it. The matcha crepes were okay. They were not very sweet, so they might be suitable for people who prefer less sugary desserts. The Oreo milkshake was disappointing — it tasted watered down, as if too much water had been added. The scrambled eggs with vegetables were also dry and lacked flavor. Overall, the food was underwhelming, and the service made the experience more frustrating than enjoyable.

Walking through the neighborhood, we stumbled upon this sweet place, where the smiles and the food were over the top delicious! Everything made from scratch and tasted so. You can taste the love for what they do in their food. We loved it so much we came back the very next morning for more. We are blown away and now plan to make this a yearly visit.

My wife and I visited Perfect Brunch Bros over the weekend, and we were absolutely blown away. This spot is a gem — not only because of the delicious food, but because of the heart and story behind it. The restaurant is run by two brothers from Guatemala, and their passion shines through in everything they do. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. One of the brothers — the owner — personally greeted us with such warmth and kindness. That level of hospitality really stood out. And before he left, he even made sure to say goodbye to us — it made us feel truly seen and appreciated. Such a thoughtful touch! The menu is a beautiful blend of traditional brunch favorites and dishes inspired by South and Central America — especially Guatemala. Some items were familiar, others were completely new to us — the kind you’d only get to try by actually visiting those countries. It’s rare to find such authentic and unique options in one place. I had the shrimp and grits (phenomenal!) and my wife had the Queen’s Breakfast — both were unforgettable. We also had cappuccinos that we absolutely loved — smooth, rich, and served in the coolest cups ☕️. It’s the little details like that which elevate the whole experience. They’ll be adding cocktails this summer 🍹, which just gives us one more reason to come back! The vibe inside is cozy, fresh, and full of character — from the authentic tile floors to the natural sunlight and thoughtful layout, it truly feels like you’ve been transported to Guatemala or somewhere equally special. They’re located right in Albany Park off the Kedzie train line 🚆. Whether you walk, bike, drive, or hop on the train, it’s easy to get to. And when you’re done with brunch, you’re in a vibrant area full of Mexican food, Mediterranean spots, Turkish coffee, and more — a neighborhood worth exploring. They’ve been open for a year, and we’re so grateful to have them in our neighborhood. We wish them continued success and can’t wait to return and try more from the menu. Perfect Brunch Bros lives up to its name — truly perfect. 💯🙌🏼 - Genie & Chris

Had a great brunch here. Food was top notch, both the standards and the more exotic offerings (curry goat grits). Chilequiles in the conversation of best I've had in the city. One of us got the steak and one the chicken on their chilequiles and both were excellently marinatedswasoned. Solid drinks, very attentive service, never felt rushed even when we were chatting and hanging drinks after our food. Only have 4 stars on atmosphere cause it's nothing special, tile floor, nondescript decorations, clean, fine but like, you're not going for the design of the room
