My husband and I had Little Tokyo Taiyaki at are wedding as a dessert vendor during our reception and they were such a big hit with our guests! Communicating with them was extremely easy and they even were generous enough to let us come by their shop for a tasting! We ended up selecting the red bean, custard, and sweet potato fillings! On the wedding day, they came early to set up, provided enough taiyaki for guests to have several to eat there AND to take home as well, and even visited our venue beforehand to make sure they had the right outlets for what they needed so we were so impressed by their attention to detail. So many of our guests told us it was one of the highlights of the wedding and that the taiyaki themselves tasted amazing and fresh. We can't thank Ken and Kaylee enough for going above and on our wedding day and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding and looking for a unique dessert option!

SO GOOD! Got the pizza Taiyaki and didn't even know it came with a sauce. If you post a pic of your food and tag them on instagram, they'll give you a free Taiyaki! This was my first time getting a Taiyaki, and it was delicious as heck. The SAUCE was so unexpected so when I dipped my pizza Taiyaki in it, I was like holy moly this is so good??? It reminds me of Mexican salsa. I gotta come back and try their different flavors, probably one of the sweeter ones!

I’ve been coming to @littletokyotaiyaki for five years and love their taiyaki flavors. My favorites are red bean, mozzarella cheese, and chocolate. They’re personable and exude excellent customer service! They are located in a niche corner next to the Little Tokyo Market Place. Parking is in the Little Tokyo Galleri lot, and they validate parking for up to one hour as well. There are places to sit if you want to enjoy the plaza's vibes.

We had the pleasure of having Little Tokyo Taiyaki at our wedding last weekend and it was a hit! Justin and I are huge taiyaki fans and have loved their taiyakis and hotteok from their cute cart at Little Tokyo Galleria from the first time we tasted it, so we decided to bring them on as our dessert vendor. It was the best decision we ever made! We spoke with Ken during our initial consult call and we were very impressed by his professionalism and thoroughness. Kaylee is also very sweet and graciously let us sample all our chosen Taiyaki flavors for the wedding. We initially selected four flavors- custard, sweet potato, mango, and chocolate. Literally every flavor is SO good! However, when I found out about the limited edition flavor, ube cream cheese,I asked to sample it and decided to change out one of our flavors because it was SO good and I knew it would be a hit especially for our Filipino guests. Many of our guests came up to us to tell us how good the taiyakis were and even those that have never had Taiyaki before have enjoyed it so much. Ken and Kaylee went above and beyond and even prepared take-home bags that guests can take home. My mom who is going through chemo enjoys the taiyakis so much and it was such a joy seeing her get excited about the taiyakis at the wedding. We will treasure this memory for a long time. Thank you Ken and Kaylee for being wonderful! Justin and I will be back for more taiyakis and hotteok soon!

Probably the best made taiyaki in town. The taiyaki is perfectly heated. When they’re barely made they are light golden brown and crispy on the outside and the inside is spongy. The fillings are not the best though. The mango filling was super artificial and somewhat runny. It tastes good but still. There’s a confusion with the mango. Supposedly it’s mango apple. But when I first saw it it on the front of the cart it said mango only. The red bean wasn’t my favorite red bean. They also have custard, chocolate and sweet potato. Service is friendly. My order took about 10 minutes. They put the taiyakis in little paper sleeves that have the initials of what flavor they are written on them. You can park in an adjacent structure. There’s also meter parking nearby.

This has been a truck area outside the galleria that I've been going to for the years they've been open. They served the red bean paste that I love and enjoyed as a kid. Today we went ahead to pay for a premium item of a pepperoni and cheese for $4. The lady was very sweet to offer me and my sibling another 3 taiyaki. Which was super generous and very sweet to us. We got a pepper, bacon and cheese. The cheese one I got was really good, genuinely it was this cooled but warm delicious cheese to bite in with a cinnamon like breading. I highly recommend it, as it felt like a Disney dish. Personally to me. I think if you want a light snack or want something sweet, this is a lovely food truck.
