Sheng Ramen Ballantyne

Wife and I are NOT huge ramen fans, but our son met us out there. Easy to find and just enough choices on the menu(too many choices not good for us). The restaurant had 10-15 tables. Good lighting and clean place. Our son suggested Tonkotsu ramen. Wife got that. I got spicy miso(Spice on the side. Highly recommend). Very good. Hot and fresh to the table. Overall we really liked it. We will definitely be going back.

Service was good, server was friendly. Ramen menu straightforward and they give you plenty of ramen noodles in the bowl. Appetizers were good and flavorful. Tonkatsu broth was rich and tasty while curry broth was savory with a little kick to it. This is now one of my favorite ramen spot (I have 3 😅). I’ve tried a lot of ramen bar in Charlotte area and would definitely recommend this place. Everything was delicious!

Enjoyed our food and specially with the colder weather outside the broth was amazing. Enjoyed every sip of it. There was longer wait time so we chose to take counter seating. The server was great, friendly and took time to take our orders and additional side orders as well. Overall enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Restrooms were clean and the tables were clean as well.

Quite delicious the seafood base was especially 👌 The chicken katsu appetizer is a great portion of meat. Waiter was kind & place was clean The shrimp tempura..was fresh but I just wasnt a fan of oil it was fried in. Best place in Charlotte for ramen

Excellent food!! We went for dinner and tried the Curry Ramen and two other dishes. All finger licking good! Especially during the cold days of winter this is such a perfect way to taste the heat and also warm up from the inside!

Just off Ballantyne Commons Pkwy in Charlotte, NC. 1st pic is Paitan Ramen for $18 USD. 2nd pic is Tonkotsu Ramen for $18 USD. Food was excellent and arrived nice and hot. Service exceptional. Recommend.

Sheng has the best ramen in CLT. I love coming here for the tonkotsu ramen..the broth is absolutely delicious. The bao buns are also phenomenal. Will be back!
