Bend Dermatology - 2705 NE Conners

I've been seeing Dr. May since he started at BDC. He's very knowledgeable and understands individual skin needs. I appreciated his honest advice regarding my skin care. He advised me against skin routines others had recommended because those treatments would cause scarring and further damage. He's awesome. I highly recommend Dr. May and BDC.

All staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! Dr May was awesomely! Personable, made it easy to understand his direction and goals. Comfortable to ask questions and knew his stuff without talking down to me. Very positive and productive appointment!

Wanted a spot check for a few moles. Appointment availability was good. Online health history (long!), reminders and check-in werecgood, reception warm, waiting room was spacious and tidy. Medical assistant suggested an upper body check rather than spot check so I agreed. Wait in my room was quite long. I felt the doctor was rushing, but thorough. Probably won't go back due to rushing.

Well, much like the skin tag on my eyelid, hell has frozen over. I say this because Bend Derm actually has me excited for my next doctor’s appointment..! A truly epic-dermis experience. From the kind woman Bailey at the front desk to Dr. Trautman (I just call her Steph now because she is so cool), every part of my last few visits have been streamlined, comfortable, and SUCH a great skin-vestment. The MVP employee who really saved my skin was a medical assistant named Jen. The moment her devastatingly striking, smiling face called me from the waiting room, I knew choosing Bend Derm was no rash decision. She was kind, cheerful, and helped ease me into the exam room so that I was relaxed and knew what to expect before my procedures. She is just the greatest, a true glow-getter. Overall, a spotless experience I would give more stars if I could. Going anywhere else in Bend for derm would be a pore choice.

I was there for a full body scan and had a few spots I was concerned about. No full body scan was performed. I had a quick biopsy and a spot frozen. I felt rushed through like cattle. I will be asking for a new doctor but will still go back to the office because my husband gets good care. I think I just got a PA that is rushing through his patients.

My appt was delayed three months because you had no testing kits for allergies. When I did come in three months later you still had no kits. No one called me ahead of time just let me drive all the way there to tell me they were unable to do my scheduled appt. How rude and unprofessional! Total disregard for me and my time. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully. Just "sorry we can’t work with you today". There was ample time to notify me by phone. I will tell everyone I know. And I want nothing to do with this office ever again.

Excellent customer service…. Very helpful and friendly. Wonderful doctor and nurse that make you feel at ease of the process of checking out your skin. Thank you for your patience and ability. Sandy
