Dr. J. Scott VanLoock, MD

Dr. VanLoock is a great Dr. He was the only Dr. in the area that went to great lengths to find out what was going on with me and he did. Now it is literally impossible to get in with him while you have symptoms to see him. His office receptionist very rudely told me I could go see Brittany, the ER or another Dr. She was very unconcerned and uncaring about my situation. She stated she has a paper from Dr. VanLoock with those instructions. It's a shame, Dr. VanLoock is a great Dr, but I think he needs to have a nurse to call his patients back to see if there may be a good reason to try to work them in while they actually have symptoms otherwise there is no reason to come 3 months later, nor can people wait that long when they are in pain. Some appointments need to be left available for patients when symptoms arise. It would have even be nice to have been offered to at least be put on a waiting list incase someone canceled. It's unfortunate but I'm being forced to find another dermatologist.

Dr. Van Looke is amazing, he has treated my daughter for 11 years. She sees him about every 3 months. She sees 10 different doctors and he is the best by far!! He is caring, very knowledgeable and very trustworthy! My daughter can tell him anything and he listens and helps her! We love him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Vanloock for over 10 years. He is the most thorough doctor and always answers all my questions in a clear and concise manner. His staff is just as friendly as he is. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone that is having skin issues be it melanoma or acne.

Dr Vanloock is absolutely fantastic. You WILL NOT find a better dermatologist in the Mobile area. I've never seen a specialist more knowledgeable and thorough in any specialty. His assisting medical staff are equaly impressive. My only issue is with his front desk attendant. She is among the most unpleasant people I have ever dealt with at any place I've ever visited. And she seemed to take pride in that. It's a shame to have such a negative face on such an awesome place.

My whole family uses Dr Vanloock. He has seen my daughters for everything from warts to acne; he has always made them feel important to him and has treated them as though they were the most VIP of patients. He sees my wife for severe eczema and his treatment has been nothing short of life changing for her. We'd give him 10 stars if we could

5 stars in all categories for Dr. Van Loock and his staff. He has served as our family's dermatologist for several years now, and I have highly recommended him to relatives and friends. He has all the qualities you look for in a physician: expertise, thoroughness, professionalism, bedside manner and competent, caring staff.

We owe an immeasurable debt of thanks to Dr. Vanloock and his staff. I was diagnosed with Melanoma twice and Basal Cell Carcinoma. Without proper treatment I would not be here to write. We are more than appreciative for his care and concern.
