Kaiser San Leandro has been a great experience for me. The staff is always approachable, friendly, and very helpful. Most of my doctors have been wonderful. They are attentive, thorough, and caring during every visit. The facility is clean and well-organized. Overall, I’m very grateful for the excellent care I receive here.
Technician extremely courteous, helpful and put me at ease! The Dublin Kaiser facility easy to park, get into building and very nice. Would return there for other procedures as I live in Castro Valley. Further away than San Leandro but worth the extra miles. Also want to express my deep appreciation and gratitude for Doctors Irene Roy-Choudury AND Laura Nam. Both are the most compassionate, committed to my care and very responsive doctors I’ve ever had since my joining Kaiser in 1978!
Julie G. I had a great experience getting my blood drawn here. The person who helped me was incredibly professional and kind. She found a tiny vein on the very first try, which honestly impressed me so much and immediately put me at ease. She was pleasant to talk to and really helped calm my nerves. I truly appreciated her patience and kindness that day. Thank you for making what can be a stressful experience feel so much easier.
I switched jobs last year and got onto Kaiser. I like how most things can be done at one place. The doctors and nurses are professional and caring. Appointments and referrals aren't difficult to get. Overall, a much better experience than what I had before.
By far the best hospital in my opinion. I had an emergency C-section in early February 2024 after 24 hours of labor (17 hours of active+ labor) and they were very helpful all throughout. Well equipped. Turns out the umbellical cord was wrapped around my son's neck, which is why he was stuck in the final push stage and therefore needed a C-section. Amazing food and amazing service. I won't forget though how apparently my husband and I rang the bell on the remote control for help too much-so much so that the pedi nurse told us that the other nurses felt it was too much. Well, I don't regret ringing that bell that much to be honest. We had a difficult, borderline traumatic labor AND birth. I had a fever during labor, our son's heart rate dropped at one point during labor, our son had trouble breathing after birth, jaundice, high blood sugar levels, etc. This is our first (maybe last) child. All of this happening at once made both of us numb, exhausted, unable to process new info well, drained, etc and I just had a C-section. So we NEEDED that much help in caring for our son. We pay over a thousand dollars every month just to have health insurance, nevermind the other medical costs we pay. I know you nurses may be short-staffed, but thats on the higher ups in Kaiser. They need to make sure that the hospitals are fully-staffed day and night. So our needs those days was well worth our money that we spend monthly! If you felt overwhelmed, I am not sorry but rather the higher ups in Kaiser need to take less money in for themselves and hire more nurses.
Dr Wang is always prepared to talk with me and has a genuine sense of friendliness towards all of his patients. He is kind and thorough. Also VERY quick to answer a question by email.
The sonographer was so thoughtful and kind. Made me feel relaxed and did not leave any concern or question unanswered. In fact she was two steps ahead making sure I knew what to expect at every turn. Super impressed with the care experience
