Great experience with Dr. Echt’s staff - Kelsey and Suzanne (PA) they were both very friendly and professional, gave me opportunities to ask questions. This was my second visit easy to get an appointment and waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Beautiful facility and recommending Dr. Echt to my wife and daughters.
My first time in the office, I met all the staff for a lovely event. I was very impressed with how welcoming and knowledgeable the staff was- no high pressure sales and excellent patient/customer service, I will definitely return!! Bella at the reception was like a breath of fresh air, so pleasant to interact with.
Had to wait several YEARS for an appointment, then when I got there they refused to communicate with insurance and refused to tell me what the out of pocket cost would be. Got a call letting me know it was precancerous and that I need to come back, and same story--nobody would tell me how much my patient responsibility would cost despite telling them that it could break me financially to have to spend hundreds of dollars. I spoke to several people who told me I needed to speak to the office manager. Weeks later, still waiting on a call back from this 'manager'. Billing department is absolutely useless and off-site/doesn't actually know anything about the office they service. I've tried to call the office half a dozen times but always get some AI chatbot trying to get personal information over text when I am BEGGING for a call back in every voicemail I have left. All emails bounced. Care in-office was reasonable but the administration of the office has been an absolute nightmare. I'm disappointed but I feel stuck with how long it takes to get in with a dermatologist, and with a pre cancer diagnosis I cannot wait another two years to be seen elsewhere.
Generally speaking I have been satisfied with the care, but the patient portal and billing systems are horrible. To the point that I'm considering a different practice. First it was an email that took me to a page to just start paying, no authentication of any kind. That's a hard pass for lack of security. Then it was, you can pay on the portal, I have 2 line items to pay, the first one worked, but the second won't let me pay, same error "contact the practice", when I contacted them I was just told to call the office and pay by phone, no mention of fixing the portal. This tells me that the staff either doesn't know how, or hasn't had success with reporting issues for the service they contract with to get things fixed.
Erin was very kind! I felt alot less anxious thanks to her (for my spider angioma removal) It was alot less painful then I expected and she was very careful and kinda durring the whole process ! THANK YOU
I always have positive experiences with this office. The staff is friendly and efficient with checking in and taking back to exam room. PA Holly Martin is thorough and knowledgeable and addresses all concerns clearly. I trust her completely. Appointments run on time, which I appreciate. Yes, there is a long wait for a full body check but you can easily get on the schedule every year - in the meantime, they are very accommodating for specific issues that may arise and will typically get you on the schedule within a few days. Highly recommend!
Needed a new prescription bc my insurance changed on the 7/1. Contacted audrey echt dermatology to have it done, spoke to Brianna (checkspelling) she told me to send my new insurance card photos thru this text sent at 10:12 am. Sent the photos at 10:13am. As you can see the message sends an auto message at the bottom saying received. Called back at 1:47pm, Brianna answers and I'm letting her know I haven't heard anything yet. She tells me that the nurse has left already and 'I haven't sent the info yet. ' mind you it's in the picture when it was received by them. Then she goes on to giggle and tell me I have to wait till Monday. How is a professional at an healthcare establishment going to giggle at a patient and call them a liar when doing what was asked of them to do. Nurse Lindsay is cool and I don't blame her, but Brianna needs to be written up or counseled. And when I called on Monday, the nurse and physician still weren't there and once Brianna caught wind of my name got smart with me and a little professional attitude. As if I was wrong to call back after telling me everyone would be back Monday. Thank you for destroying my trust in you guys professionalism.
