Very upset at this place. Been going to them for years. Then I got some kind of abscess next to my tooth. They suggested I go to an endodontist, as I might need a root canal or possibly a tooth extraction. They recommended a doctor, but the doctor wasn’t in my insurance network. And since they explained root canals can be relatively expensive, I wanted to find a place in-network. So I found a new place. Went there. They wanted to speak to Burbank Dental Art before doing anything. That was mid-May, and I still haven’t heard back from Burbank Dental Art. I followed up via text at the end of May—no response whatsoever. I call at the beginning of June and am told they didn’t have time to get back to me. Really? Between May 17 and June 10, you can’t find time to call your patient about a medical concern? I was then told, in short, "well, I GUESS I can call the endodontist"—as if I were asking for something completely crazy. It’s now June 28, and they never got back to me at all. So, I guess what this means is—they’ll only help you if you go to a doctor they recommend. If you dare go elsewhere, they just throw up their hands and say—to hell with it. Really frustrating. I will be changing my primary dentist office because of this very upsetting behavior.

Dr. Art's schedule must be filled. For the past month, I've been attempting to schedule an appointment with Dr. Art!! Dr. Art's scheduler is his brother Gary, who will take a week to get back to you, only to tell you the Dr. is busy. So, I hope you are patient and don't have an emergency visit. All that aside, good luck getting an appointment.

Dr. and his team are the best. Truly professional and amazing to work with. I never had such a pleasant experience visiting a dental practice. I highly recommend!

My whole family goes here. Everyone in this office is so friendly and they are GREAT with kids. Dr. Shahnubaryan does a good job and we never feel pressured to do unnecessary, expensive work. We feel so lucky to have Burbank Dental Art!
