Professional Dental in West Valley has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 341 reviews on Google
I have accompanied the patient to his appointments on several occasions, and I have consistently observed that this office tends to run behind schedule. On multiple visits, I have noticed that patients who arrive later are sometimes taken in before those who have been waiting. For example, today we arrived early, checked in, and once again experienced the same situation. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, another patient who had just arrived was taken in within 5 minutes. This is unacceptable, particularly given that patients are required to arrive on time or risk being billed a late fee. On this occasion, we waited nearly 40 minutes. I had to approach the desk multiple times for updates, and each time we were told "five more minutes," which then stretched to ten. The receptionist had a attitude, she seemed annoyed at me asking her a estimated time that the treatment would begin. Patients are held accountable for punctuality, the office should be held to the same standard. I had heard great things about this practice and was strongly considering obtaining dental services here myself. However, time is valuable, and the lack of organization in tracking patients’ order of arrival is concerning. What was more discouraging was observing the staff chatting and laughing while patients continued to wait, despite being aware of the delays. While a positive work culture is important, professionalism and respect for patients’ time must remain a priority. Again although I was not the patient in this case, these repeated experiences have made me reconsider becoming one. I hope management can take a look at this and make a changes to their system because it is not working.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at this establishment. I strongly advise against visiting this Dental Clinic. They will charge you excessive fees, request your signature on financial documents without providing adequate explanations. When you request a detailed cost breakdown, they will provide it on a piece of paper and inform you of the amount due. I visited in May and June to undergo treatment prior to my insurance renewal in July. My intention was to utilize my maximum insurance coverage before the renewal, allowing me to access the maximum benefits again. I was assured that they would not charge me for the previous work done and would instead apply it to future treatment. However, dealing with the receptionist/general manager has been extremely frustrating. You will experience difficulty in reaching them, as your calls will go unanswered or will be routed to another location, informing you that they are closed and will return your call when they are open. After weeks of waiting, you will need to make multiple calls in one day to reach someone and discuss treatment and appointments. After requesting a refund of the amount you paid out of pocket they will tell you there is no refund amount. I have now been in contact with my insurance company and will take legal actions. Be aware and ALWAYS ask for a breakdown before signing any documentation.
I went in for a regular cleaning and usually when I come in it’s great service, but this last visit was terrible and honestly ruined my day after. They claimed I needed a deep cleaning and had to come back several weeks at a time to check on my gums, and literally charging me $3700 for this with almost $2200 upfront. This is wild! My rent is not even that high! Not only that but the lady who is the receptionist barely speaks English, and I didn’t feel confident that she got the price right that I needed to pay. I am currently looking for another dentistry because I feel like I’m being scammed to pay their light bill.
Brand new office that is part of a conglomerate. The dentist that I work with is very proficient and friendly. I know when my teeth are finished they will look great. Because of various issues I have been toothless for longer than I wanted. So I am very excited and pray they will be a good fit
Had an impacted tooth infection after it broke while I was traveling and no way to get in to a dentist out of state made the call to them this morning and they got me in right away Took extra care making sure the extraction and. Care would be as painless as possible. This was my first time using them and you can bet I will be coming back! Thank you guys your amazing
This place, West Valley office in particular, is absolutely ridiculous. They tried charging me $867 to pull 2 teeth. The first time I went there they were so unorganized, and screwed up scheduling on one of my appointments, so I decided to go to the West Jordan office and they took care of me. Its been about 1 year, and I needed 2 teeth pulled and they scheduled me at the West Valley office. The dentist came in- late mind you. We made a game plan to pull them, he exits the room and the front desk girl came in to have me sign the financial part. When I saw the total and CONFIRMED they were charging me almost $900 to pull 2 teeth I got up and left. The dentist knows I’m in pain, and that I need these removed. He didn’t even call to see why I walked out. This place is NOT Professional, and I would highly recommend staying FAR away from this place.
I had all my wisdom teeth removed and it was a fast and painless process thanks to Dr. Quiroz and his assistant Leslie. They were both very professional and patient with me.
