Kaiser Permanente Tanasbourne Dental Office

As a recent Portland transplant from LA this is the most thorough dental apt I’ve ever had. I don’t love going to the dentist, however I’m not willing to risk dental health. X-rays, cleaning, and a plan with specific habits/tricks to improve. Bonus points for a tooth filling apt availability 2 days later! Thank you Alicia and the cool Iranian lady (sorry I dont remember your name 😬)

Dr. Vu and Leah were amazing. They were comforting and patient with my daughter throughout the entire tooth extraction process. They answered all of our questions thoughtfully and seemed to enjoy the line of work they chose. It was a wonderful visit.

My experience with staff is pretty good. My issue is actually booking an appointment. They moved my son from pediatric to general dentistry. Which is fine if they would have notified me (he just turned 11.) he’s due for exam, x-rays and cleaning. Because of that they have hard time finding an appointment for him and they won’t break it up into 2 appointments. They said they are booked for several months and that I have to keep calling everyday and that it could take months to book and that’s what they are telling everyone.

Tim is the best hygienist I’ve ever had! He was kind, knowledgeable, and did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable. I felt that he truly cared about me. Leah was an excellent x-ray tech who made the uncomfortable process feel so much better because of her careful placement of the machines and parts. I love this team at Kaiser!

I don’t like going to the dentist, but Dr Hughes and Victor were awesome and did a great job making me feel comfortable during my surgery. They explain everything as they go and make sure you get really taken care off. Definitely recommend them!

Dr. Teresa Doan and her assistant My were amazing! They made me feel comfortable during my dental procedure today. My initial visit a month ago was great too! I had seen other dental providers (non-KP providers) in the past and had a bad experience which is the reason why I had not seen a dentist for a couple of years. I’m so glad I found Dr. Doan!

Dr. Laraway, has taken care of my kids for the past 16 years. Even though we moved, we continue going to that office.
