So let's be clear, the reviews that have the one star are correct. The others probably did get the whatever they rated but if you are A member who has natural coarse hair that's short it for some reason makes the cosmetology school uncomfortable this one in particular. So when I walk through the door they could have just said no and it would have been okay make up a lie since they ended up wasting my time and lying. Anyways I sat here for 45 minutes all to be given the runaround now the good thing Is I speak Spanish and because I'm African-American the assumption was I don't (I suppose) so they decided to have all of their conversation between the stylist and the reception in Spanish. I listen to these women talk about my hair and the length and the uncomfortability of doing my hair in Spanish. I let them say all they had to say and responded in kind all for them to come up and say the woman that walked in the same time as me, although I was here before her, she called before me her hair was going to take 2 and 1/2 hours. We all know that as a stylist you can get a wash your clients and you set them under the dryer and start another wash if you don't have a shampoo person. The client and I arrived for the exact same thing at the exact same time nonetheless none of the time wasted was necessary. The stylist happily said it's going to take 2 and 1/2 hours which would take the facility to closing. Offered if I wanted to wait knowing damn well I don't want to wait 2 and 1/2 hours for you to do a wash and a flatiron but also knowing that if you close why even give me the option? Don't go to this place. Discrimination against an already marginalized demographic by another marginalized demographic makes zero sense yet it's happened. Don't waste your time. During my wait, the client had to instruct the stylist how to wash her hair. The School-Aged child of the stylist kept coming out the rear of the facility to interrupt the stylist to open something for her to consume or tell her something. While I sat, the client indicated she was concerned because her hair is falling out. The stylist told her, "Oh it's okay that happens." The client further told the stylist that the back of her hair wasn't wet while being shampooed. The stylist told her to let her do her own thing. She is aware. The client also told her did you see the water spot big water puddle on the ground. She told her it was dangerous. The stylist responded to the receptionist in Spanish to tell her to come clean the spot up. It must be a shortage of students because there was one stylist and one Barber both as disinterested as can be possibly displayed on one's face at being present, which definitely cataclysmically brought down the energy to the paying customers. If I had to gauge my interest on going to cosmetology school off of this experience, I try a new profession immediately. The short of an already long story is no. Although I'm 45 minutes in and and start to finish, my hair usually takes about an hour. I still walked in the exact same way I walked out.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told the teacher and two others that I wanted hi-lights and was there for hi-lights. The student dyed my roots and asked if there was anything else I wanted done. The color she dyed my roots was about 20 shades off from my hair color. My roots were orange and my hair is brown. The place is dirty, bugs crawling on the floor. Very unorganized and unprofessional. When I got there for my appointment, the student that was assigned to me was blow drying her hair and I was told to wait until she was done with her own hair. It smelled like an antique shop. DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!

This was the worst experience I've ever encountered, I went in just wanting my hair trimmed with a few layers, the girl butchered my hair so bad that I had to cut all my hair off just to fix her mistake. I will never ever go back there. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had.

I've tried calling this establishment more than several times to no availability. Not once has someone answered the phone. Very sad.
