I have been taking Japanese lessons online for about a year now (I live in Japan), and I am very happy with my classes! The instructors are professional and knowledgeable, and the owners of CR Languages are very helpful and on the ball. Despite the challenges posed by COVID to language learning, my experience has been nothing but positive — I have definitely seen improvement in my language skills. Class costs, policies and cancellation procedures are all very clearly outlined, and the owners are very accommodating with any issues I have had. I would absolutely recommend CR Languages to anyone wanting to work on a second (or third, or fourth) language!!

I've tried learning languages several different times -- CR Languages has gotten me farther than ever before, and I am still going! The instructors have been both professional and engaging, as well as downright wonderful human beings. The books are logically written, and between the recorded, online, and in-person classes, there are so many options to learn with any budget or amount of time that you have. Best takeaways: If you're an adult learner with an 8-5 job, these classes will work for your schedule and you can make real progress on your language goals.

I've now completed my fourth class with CR Languages and have enrolled in two more. CR Languages has consistently been an absolute pleasure to attend. The business itself is always professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I might have through a quick email. I most appreciate their flexibility; their strive to maintain in-person classes in pandemic times was handled with grace and openness as situations changed and evolved. It was clear that CR Languages cared about the needs and concerns of their students and sought to make the most accomodating decisions. And their flexible care for the needs of students stretches beyond covid as well. The professors there are lovely, knowledgeable about their languages, and enthusiastic about sharing. The class sizes are ideal, large enough to have a fun group to learn with while maintaining good interaction time with the professor. It's a perfect recipe for motivation. While I genuinely believe that classes are just one part of a language learning process, CR Languages has well established itself into my routine. With their teachings over the years, I have gone from learning 'Bonjour' to being able to have conversations entirely in French (thanks, Alessandra!). There's much to improve still, but I'm looking forward to continuing the journey with CR.

Fabiana is such a fabulous teacher! I love how positive she is--kind when we make mistakes. She really takes the time to go over language rules and concepts, which is much appreciated. She is a native speaker, which I find to be a great advantage. She can help us with phrasing that is current and popular. I love that she will go over concepts many times during the semester--sometimes reviewing 3 or more times. She is always positive and has a ready smile throughout the entire class! I also like that she does teaching on her own, going over the ideas in each chapter but teaching those ideas didactically--something the book we use does not do a good job with. I am finishing my second year with Fabiana and am looking forward to having her again next semester (Italian 5). Grazie mille! Splendida!

Fabiana is an excellent teacher! Her lessons are well planned, organized, and fun. She is very patient and as she introduces new topics/vocabulary/related phrases/grammer/and practice, she uses a variety of materials on various topics of interest that keep the lessons exciting and challenging.
