Diablo Nippongo Gakuen

Wonderful co-op Japanese language school for K -12. Classes are taught in person during the school year on Saturdays by a dedicated, caring staff. There are cultural events for the students to experience. There are two tracks - families who speak Japanese at home and families who do not. The teachers are very encouraging.

This is the core Japanese-American community in Contra Costa County, which itself creates immense value beyond language instruction. As a co-op, everyone participates and results in affordable tuition. Couldn't be happier to have my family as part of the community, and the kiddos really enjoy class!

子供たち2人がキンダーから始めて今２人とも高校生で一番上のクラスですが、同じ境遇の友達もできて行かせて良かったです。運動会、クリスマスパーティー、お正月、学芸会と日本語だけではなく、日本の文化習慣も楽しく学んでいます。
