School hasn't even started and already having problems with this school. I enrolled my son in this school because his GPA and credits are not good so FLVS wouldn't approve him. I read on the website of DAOF that they accept all students. There are no GPA or credit requirements. That is why we applied. All documents were approved and so was his transcripts. We set up the OLS accounts and everything is good. Laptops have been shipped and 2 classes had been assigned. Yesterday at 8pm, 4 days before school starts I try to login to our account and I get an error. Then, I logged into the enrollment portal and it says my student was withdrawn. Mind you, no email or call about this. I sent an email to a few people at the school but couldn't call because it was late. Next day I get an email saying he got withdrawn because his GPA and credits are not good. Makes no sense since according to their website they approve all GPA and credits. I try calling the school and their system sucks so the operator just hangs me up. I call and someone finally picks up. They give me a number the guidance counselor. I called and she didn't answer so I left a message only to find out it is not the correct counselor for his grade. I called multiple times again to see who I can get in contact with and no one answers. I have left numerous emails explaining myself over and over again and no response apart from the initial email. This is very frustrating for many reasons: school starts on Monday, we withdrew him from his home school, classes were already getting assigned and laptop was shipped. How are you going to withdraw him 4 days before schools starts with no call or email about it. If i hadn't tried logging into the account I wouldn't have known. Now I do not know what to do. My son will not be able to start on the first day. This school already is messy and unorganized. Poor communication as well. I contacted k12 and they opened a case.

First year and before she can even start kindergarten it’s so many issues ! I keep getting the run around with everything and now I have been denied for a laptop which they already told me I would be approved for because she receives the free reduced lunch and I have snap. The reason why says not available and then they tell you to write an email that you never get a response back from . Now I just want to switch her schools to one that has it together and I can’t even unenroll her smh. Worst first year experience I have ever had. Took something that is supposed to be one of my most exciting moments and turned it into a living hell

Digital Academy of Florida has been a fantastic experience for our family! The teachers are supportive, the curriculum is well-structured, and the flexibility of online learning allows my little brother to thrive at his own pace. Communication is always clear and timely, and we feel truly supported every step of the way. Highly recommend for any family looking for a quality virtual school option! He started there in 9th grade during the pandemic and he is now graduating May 2025 in the top 25 percent.

My daughter was a student for 6th-7th grade, enrollment process was a bit of a run around, the teachers were amazing and were always available when needed. My daughter is 2 months away of finishing 8th grade. I reached out all year about getting my daughter's transcripts, left voicemails and emails...NOBODY has gotten back to me yet. The office needs to get it together. My daughter's school is now saying she will have to repeat 6th grade because there is no proof that she completed it.

We had an exceptional time at the April Miami Events! My daughter had an amazing time! She enjoyed the Minecraft Movie and she even started to learn how to skate at the Miami Roller Rink! Thank you Madison and Jess for this wonderful event, we grealy appreciate everything very much! Please continue to do these events! We look forward to attend all future events!

The school enrollment process is a nightmare. After confirming my daughter was approved. Then 2 weeks later, they were asking for more paperwork or she will be separated from the school. I kept delivering everything they asked and every call I was told something different to the point I gave up and withdrew her from the school altogether. The teacher was amazing but their office is the complete opposite. Awful to say the least.

This school is extremely unorganized and does not care about their students at all! Enrollment was a mess; their transcript evaluations took so long my son wasn’t able to start at the beginning and instead started a month late. Did they start him at the beginning of a new class? Absolutely not! They threw him into established classes, marked all of the work that had been due before he started as "late," and refused to work with him to complete these assignments. Due to this, he is failing most of his classes; mind you, he transferred with A’s and B’s. Multiple emails have gone unanswered. This is the only school with K12 that we have used and it does not make them look good at all! Find another school, for yours and your child’s sake! Admin, please do not comment the same ridiculous response you’ve given every other person advising to "contact the teacher," because no one there responds, but you already know that, don’t you?
