Kumon Math and Reading Center of Mandarin

Where do I start... Had my son at Sylvan for a year with no progress. Heard about Kumon and decided to try it out since my son was so behind in school. I am beyond words. I have seen his mind expand. His handwriting has improved. His math is getting better each week. I would recommend Kumon to anyone. Carolyn will work with your child until they start understanding. She is very good at her job. Her employees try different ways until they figure it what works. I love this place. Carolyn and her team are a blessing in disguise.

Kumon has done wonders for my child. We came here because we wanted help in getting my daughter to read. She’s been coming for about a year and I’m very pleased at how well she’s doing in both math and reading. When I was concerned at her starting Kindergarten and having a hard time with her demanding school work and Kumon, Sonia was awesome at assisting me with how to manage her and all the work. She’s now scoring in kindergarten at a 2nd grade reading and math level. Is a lot of the work repetitive? yes? But what I’ve noticed is the repetitiveness is a method of teaching her to study. Going over something over and over again is how you study. In an effort to get her to next levels, I do spend more time with her to get it but isn’t that what we’re suppose to do. The instructors do instruct, because I’be stood over them and listened lol… which is their job but each child will remember differently. In order for this to work for your child you will need to be involved and allow the process to happen. When ever I had any concerns Sonia and her team has always been very helpful so from my end .I’m very pleased.

Where do I start Kumon is a blessing and a miracle. My oldest Son was struggling in Math and other subjects in School so I put him in Kumon after tutoring didn’t work for him. He is doing so much better and so I put my other kids in Kumon too and they are all doing terrific and getting excellent grades. I would highly recommend to any parent out there who have children that are struggling in Math or reading Kumon is the best thing for your children.

Kumon is a scam! You think you’re getting the help you desire for your child but it’s a flake! Carolyn is the worst representation of this company. Unprofessional, rude, & strictly about an almighty dollar. Trying to express your frustrations to her because you realize as a parent how much of a heavy workload it is for yourself & child, is worthless. Carolyn tries to overtalk you & corner you in about senseless meetings just to keep you. It’s too expensive for parents to still have to put in the work & grade behind their kids (isn’t that why you pay someone) she shows no remorse or display any compassion to the kids & parents & will literally hang up in your face. If your child needs any educational assistance please save your time & money & hire a professional tutor. I wish it was a no star rating because it’s off the scale.

Sonia is a fantastic instructor who stands behind the Kumon Method of learning! She cares about her students by providing individualized attention to each of them as best as she can.

Miss Kim and all the center’s staff is caring, dedicated and so committed to my step-son’s success. I feel like they are part of our family now!!! Thank you so much for making such a difference in my boy’s self-esteems! ❤️

This center is too much, they shove people with knowledge and stuff. Well if you know it you know it. Also, Ms Carolyn told me that I'm not going to be trouble but I am. Which I'm not trusting this Kumon center anymore. And its horrible.
