Amari Salon and Spa

I am so impressed by Kalib’s craftsmanship and customer service. This was my first time coming to him for a lived in blonde look. The 2 pictures attached are the final results of my look, which I am obsessed with. The blending, toning, and the cut were incredible! But, what I was most impressed with is his commitment to making sure his clients are happy. At first, the look was beautiful and subtle, but I was looking for more brightness around my face. I messaged Kalib about this and he immediately scheduled me in for an adjustment to the coloring. He was very attentive and committed to making sure I loved it, which I really appreciate. The salon was very welcoming and was a great environment. I will be coming back to Kalib as many times as I can in the future!

I’ve been seeing Kalib since he was in hair school (!!), and I can honestly say trusting him with my hair from the very beginning is one of the best beauty decisions I’ve ever made. Watching his growth as a stylist has been incredible—but what’s never changed is his natural talent, attention to detail, and genuine care for his clients. He has an OK sense of humor too 😉 His cuts are consistently flattering, thoughtfully shaped, and grow out beautifully (which matters so much). But where Kalib truly shines is COLOR. He has an exceptional eye for tone, dimension, and balance— always polished, natural-looking color that feels elevated and intentional. He understands how color should work with your skin tone, hair texture, and lifestyle, not against it. Kalib listens, explains the process, and makes you feel completely confident (AND EXCITED) in the chair. I always leave feeling refreshed, put-together, and like the best version of myself. Years later, I still trust him completely. If you’re looking for someone who is both incredibly skilled and genuinely invested in their craft, Kalib is it!

This salon is a fantastic find! First off, it’s gorgeous and comfortable, but the most important part is that Kalib is an expert at pulling off a blonde look that’s bright but somehow still feels healthy and doesn’t look damaged. I really appreciate the time he takes to consult on what I’m looking to do, what’s going to look best on me as far as color and tone, and how long I can expect to go before touching up. Thank you Kalib for going out of your way to maje everything perfect!

I love this salon. The staff are all very friendly and the setting is beautiful. My favorite hairdresser is Kalib V. He has been doing my hair for around 10 years and I get compliments everywhere I go about my color and style. Thank you, Kalib! You're the best!

I have never found someone to do my hair reliably, but once Sacha did my hair I knew I would keep coming back. She does absolutely beautiful bayalage, gives great cuts and styling! One time I decided to go a bit different with red, and she did great at communicating exactly what her plan was, it came out great! I have very thick hair but she never complained about it, and she's great to chat to also. As long as I live in Santa Barbara, I'll be going to Sacha.

Jennifer Kemp has been my "everything" for years now. She is the best and most accommodating hair stylist in Santa Barbara. Jennifer knows instinctively how to make you look your best. She does highlights and coloring beautifully. Every suggestion I've ever made (and I've changed my hairstyle & cut lots of times!) she knows how to do beautifully. I walk out of Amari ready to take on life... I would follow her ANYWHERE!!!!

I highly recommend Jennifer Kemp and Amari Salon. The salon itself is lovely and airy and always meticulously clean. I've known Jennifer and enjoyed her styling for well over a decade and she's consistently on it. Accommodating, knowledgeable, skilled, gifted, and such a pleasure to sit and chat with while she works her magic on my crazy wild hair. 10/10♥
