I contemplated leaving a review, but once I got into my car, I realized how upset I really was especially considering that I have a family maternity shoot today and now I have to go home and redo my entire hair. I’m really disappointed with my experience at this salon. I came in for a simple blowout, but the stylist did a poor job blow drying my hair — it was frizzy, uneven, and definitely not the smooth finish a blowout should have. Instead of fixing the issue as part of the service I already paid for, they charged me $45 for the "blow dry" and then an additional $40 for "styling" just to go over my hair with a straightener because the blowout wasn’t done correctly the first time. I’ve never been charged extra at any salon just to correct their own work. It felt unprofessional and unfair, and I left unhappy with both the service and the price. I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend this salon based on my experience. Although both stylist were very nice, this was unfair and not right. The first picture is what I asked for.. the video and picture is what I got for $90.

10 out of 10 Highly recommend! am beyond impressed with my haircut and couldn’t be happier with the results. Kat took the time to really listen to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. She added perfectly blended layers and soft face framing that flatters my face and gives my hair great movement. The cut is very easy to style and looks amazing whether I wear it straight or with waves. You can tell Kat is skilled, detail oriented, and truly cares about her clients. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend Kat to anyone looking for a talented stylist.

12.21.25 | I was looking for any hair salon close to my area and then I found this Emmanuel Salon Studio, when I am reading all the reviews from their customers, they did amazing and good services to their customers! Without hesitation I try to call then, and Loreel was the one answering my call and she’s so professional dealing with all my inquiries as this first time to have an appointment. She’s taking her time to accommodate me and book my appointment which is I am luckily they’re open on Sunday which is not to be because they closed every Sunday and she said they just starting opening every Sunday during Thanksgiving and through this holiday! But try to give them a call for more updates of their schedule! When I came two of them Loreal and Susan ( Hairstylist) I enter was greeted with full of smiles and energy I can really feel the positive energy of Susan it radiates me! It was amazing experience she’s taking her time to listen my concern shes did it very well! After all we build a connection which she so thoughtful and empathetic person! She’s one making my day ends beautifully! A must try Emmanuel Salon if you looking for relaxation and fantastic services! I’ve been going to Kat at Emmanuel Salon in Sugar Land for over two years and she’s always done a great job with my hair — she listens, works with my schedule, and really pays attention to the details. Recently, she highlighted and cut my mom’s hair too. It turned out beautiful — my dad and I both love how it looks, and my mom feels happy and comfortable, which is a big deal for her. Kat has earned our trust over the years and we couldn’t recommend her more. If you want a stylist who’s consistent, caring, and talented — Kat’s the one.

I initially booked an appointment with I believe Ashly. When I finally sat with her I explained this was the first time I would be touching my dark virgin hair and wanted something drastic (light blonde) in highlights or anything that would fit my features best or make me look different after a life altering event. I also explained that I knew I may not have much to work with because my hair was so dark. I knew I was shooting for the stars but was ok with any minor change as well. She then explained to me that I did indeed have very dark hair but that even if I wanted something just a bit lighter she wouldn’t have the time to work with me as my hair is very long and she was booked. I could sense that she was annoyed I wanted to go really light and that I had a lot of hair. She referred me to someone else in the salon who I gave the same explanation to and was able to help me with even just a slight difference. She gave me a money piece that I did appreciate and had a beautiful tone. After she washed my hair out she said she did not have time for a blowout so I was then sent to a third person. During the blowout this person pulled at my hair very aggressively and knotted up my hair repeatedly. She said that my hair " was hard to work with". After the whole experience I was charged $264.50 The picture is my hair immediately after.

I went a few weeks ago for the first time and had my appointment with Kelsey. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She made sure to take time to understand what I wanted upfront and continued to communicate throughout the appointment to make sure I left the salon with exactly what I wanted. She did an amazing haircut and she did an awesome job with the blowout. Highly recommend!
